    Praise God!

    Does she homeschool the kids?

Glad to see you love your neighbor.

Unfortunately our kids go to public schools. Trust me I know public schools can invite the devil into my kids. I unfortunately went through public schools so I know the horror that can sometimes wait. So many kids turn to alchol, drugs, underage sex, etc. once they hit their early teens. I don't want my kids to end up that way. Right now my father in law is the main reason that they go to public schools. He is a somewhat crazy man that thinks that he can always control his daughter. I guess he sometimes forgets that she got married. If my children decide to get into the wrong crowds in their early teens than there won't be any deciding needed, as they will get home schooled regardless of what my wife's father believes. I understand the social aspect of things, but unfortunately not many good things come out of the public schools.

I haven't gotten my wife to read the 1611 KJV yet, but will in time. She has a bible with her other books called the "New Testament- Psalms Proverbs" I should throw that out and put the 1611 KJV in its place!

Even worse, your kids might turn to evilution and science once they hit their teens. God forbid!

Your father-in-law sounds like a real Laban.
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

        Re: Hey

Hi Steven, welcome to our friendly forums!

I'm a little concerned with your attitude regarding your wife. You seem to cower to her moods more than a real man ought. Does she ruin your day if you upset her by not spoiling her with giving into her demands? For example, by age 24, she could have given the LORD 8 or 9 healthy Soldiers for Christ. In any case, you seem like a sincere guy trying to learn the LORD's will. If you will but indulge me for a moment, I will offer a few ideas of my own, such as they are.

A wife with whom you are afraid to upset brings discord to the home and does not glorify the LORD.

It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.
        Proverbs 21:9

It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.
        Proverbs 21:19

A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.
        Proverbs 27:15

Fear not, friend, for the LORD is with you always. (Matthew 28:20) He has given those who truly trust Him the Spirit of Wisdom for such things. (Ephesians 1:17) As the head of your wife (Ephesians 5:23), it is your duty to correct her for the sake of peace and tranquility in your home. (Hebrews 12:11) I like to share Christian Domestic Discipline with my lady friends. Those who love the LORD and trust in Him bring this information to their husbands. Invariably, their relationships are changed for the better and order is restored in the home. You too can teach your wife to submit to you physically as well as mentally.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.
