    Friendly Pastafarian

    Hi all,

    I am a pastafarian, but I feel a strong connection to anyone that has faith. I like talking to people of other faiths to find out what he have in common and how we can make the world a better place. A few things about me:

    32 years old
    I live in Switzerland! But I am from Indiana.
    I like hiking, skiing and kayaking and being outdoors in general.

    Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know about me! I know it is your policy to say what church you attend and your favorite Bible verse. I have never attended church as pastafarianism is largely based on your individual faith. I have read the Bible, it was quite interesting, and my favorite verse was Acts 19:10
    Jude 1:17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
    1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
    1:19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

    We have seen some of you swedish people here before. Usually you are very rude and hateful, I hope you are not one of there raving heathens.

    If you want world to become a better place, you just need to accept Jesus as your personal Saviour and then start converting other people to Jesus. World will be a much better place once everyone follows the one true religion, Christianity.

      Hello Brother Alphonse,

      Actually I am American. I am only working in Switzerland (not Sweden) for about a year then I plan to move back to Indiana. I am not rude or hateful so we won't have that problem.

      I don't want to get into a debate about who's religion is the "one true religion" as that is not something that we Pastafarians do. I just like interacting with other people with faith, because we share a common humility since we know there is something greater than us out there.
      Jude 1:17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

          Hello Michael, you can call me Mr. Blunder for now. Tell me, why have you chosen pasta (and terefore eternal Hellfire Exodus 22:20 rather than choosing the love of Jesus Christ and eternal bliss John 3:16?

            I have faith that the high glycemic load and low fiber content of your ridiculous cult's primary sacraments (pasta and beer) will aid you on your mystical path to obesity, diabetes, colon cancer, and heart disease.

              Hello Mr. Blunder,

              I really don't want to debate which religion is "right" but this is a very interesting question. Us Pastafarians don't believe that Heaven and Hell are like you believe them to be and we don't believe that accepting Jesus Christ is the way to get to Heaven. In fact sometimes when I talk to other Pastafarians a similar question comes up. "Why don't Christians accept his Noodliness thus guaranteeing them a place in Pastafarian Heaven?" We always come to the conclusion that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and if a Christian wants to believe in Jesus Christ only his Noodliness (our God) can tell them that they should believe differently.
              Jude 1:17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

                We agree. You're entitled to any beliefs you choose. You are also entitled to the consequences of your choices, of which God has informed you and all humanity via the Bible.

                  Hi Rev. Rodimer,

                  Us Pastafarians eat much more than just pasta and beer. Do not worry, I eat a very balanced diet. I hope you are joking about wishing obesity, diabetes, colon cancer and heart disease on me.

                  I live in Switzerland because I am helping film a movie about the Swiss Alps. They are truly beautiful mountains that prove creationism. Only an intelligent being could craft something as incredible as the Alps.

                  Please see the last post for an answer to your last question. In short, I do not hate Jesus at all as I would treat him with respect and love as I would treat any other human being. Also, we do not see our religion as being made up. We also don't see any other religion as being made up. There are many religions in the world and everyone should be able to make their own decision as to which to choose.

                    I didn't wish anything on you. I said I have faith that the high glycemic load and low fiber content of your sacraments would aid you on that path. Perhaps you should work on your reading comprehension.

                        According to you, everyone goes to Heaven, but those who have not accepted His Noodliness (and/or lived lives of sin and evildoing) are consigned to subservient roles, so (for example) Adolf Hitler would be scrubbing the shitters. The problem with that is: any Heaven that included Adolf Hitler would not truly be a Heaven for most people.

                          I'm sorry that you find it rude and hateful that I do not accept Christ. I guess we have different definitions of rude and hate. Please understand that I consider calling my religion "patently false and made-up" is very disrespectful. How would you feel if I said that about Christianity?

                              In fact I do believe in God and I am a God-loving person. It just happens that I have faith in a different God. I would like this particular discussion to end as we simply have different beliefs.

                              Are there any more questions about me as far as what I enjoy doing? Where and how I grew up? Or should I consider myself introduced?
