  • Greetings

I was brought here by a post that claimed to have something humorous. I come expecting to see a joke and instead I was horrified. I saw hate and the works of the Nemesis. I who have written stories that frightened a person back to their prayers felt sick to my stomach.
I follow the works of the new testament, but only the parts that have what Jesus said recorded. I do not follow the words that condemn. I do not follow the old testament. I simply try and follow a simple set of rules.
If you have sinned, do not cast stones at other sinners.
    Do not judge others.
When a person strikes your cheek, you turn your head and let them strike the other.
    Keep god in your heart.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

It is my belief that the son of god was an Israeli Jew and his features were that of a middle-easterner. That He was whitewashed by the fairer-skinned Europeans to look more like them.

It is my belief that the Nemesis is not a Krampus-like creature. The Nemesis is that voice inside you saying be wrathful. Be gluttonous. Be lustful. Be envious. Be everything that goes against the teachings of Christ. But be sure to twist it so it's okay.

The martyrs of Christianity were not violent people. They did not fight back. They hid and used secret marks. They were the gypsies of the Roman empire. They did not become the violent people I so often see until after coming into power.

And it makes me weep that a doctrine that preaches peace is used to promote violence.

So, in other words, you are nothing more than a cafeteria Christian, following in the Bible only what makes you feel warm and toasty inside. Pitiable creature you are...

"Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life, and they are they which tesify of me." (John 5:39)

“For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?” (John 5:46)

I wouldn't even go that far to him a cafeteria Christian! He keeps writing about Nemesis, a godess of the sodomitic greek mythology, so he must be a greasy homersexual that worships made up projections of satan - so-called 'greek gods'.

Ah, it is one of those anal sex loving fake Christians again. See Romans 9:13 for instance: As it is written, Iacob haue I loued, but Esau haue I hated.
II Kings 2:23-24: 23And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

What right do you have to pick and chose the Holy words? Above is what Jesus is recorded to have said, to follow all of the commandments. So who was talking bullshit you or Him?

Welcome friend. It is not often we get a person that knows more than God. You should speak to Him and tell Him to edit His book to remove the parts you decided He was wrong about. PM me and let me know how you make out.

Skipping the parts that you do not like does not mean you are a Chrsitian. Friend, the Bible is like oral sex. Spitting it out still is oral sex. Just because you do not want to follow them does not make them go away.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Really? Published where, and under what name?

The good book was written by man. It was edited by man and it was completed nearly 1700 years after his death. I am not so certain I want to believe everything the book says as absolute law when the old testament is the Torah of Jewish faith.

So you think the Bible is inaccurate.

Do you think that God is:
Not all-knowing, so doesn't know that it is "wrong"?
Not all-powerful, so can't change it to say what He wants?
Malevolent, and wants us to be confused and end up in His Hell?
                  Nonexistent?

Son, obviously the Bible was written by man. Did you really think God took His divine Quill Pen in Hand and wrote the words Himself? Of course not! He likely threw His servant into a mystic stupor and compelled him to write the exact words desired.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

So with 10,000 gods to chose from why did you chose the God of the Jewish faith, why not one of the others?

If you think the Bible is unreliable why would you believe the story of a man born from a virgin who died temporarily to absolve you of you sins? Surely only a fool would believe an extraordinary story from an ordinary book.

Also, by Nemesis, I am referring to the evil one. The one who tempts mankind into acts of evil, not some dead god in a religion that was crushed under the heel of an invader.

I believe god is bound by the fact that by giving us free will, he has given us a choice. He wants us to be good and change bad things to good in his name. He wants us to be a beacon of hope and compassion. Did he not say that a good Samaritan can be higher in his esteem than Even the most pious?
I do not claim to know the ways of god. I simply believe he is a father with too many children. He gave us his son who is also himself and tried his best to teach us humility and kindness. He was the son of a carpenter. His moments of ire were towards the corrupt and unpious.

And please refrain from sexual terms when speaking with me. I have no interest in it and I do not intend to in the near future. If I fall in love, I will be having sex with the person I am wed to and no-one else.

Where do you get the idea that such an entity exists?

But he does exist. He is the father of lies. The prince of evil. He tempted eve. He tried to tempt Jesus. I believe he was there whispering words of evil in every place there is cruelty.

The god of Jewish faith is the religion his family would observe. His mother and human father were Jewish. The Torah is the the entire old testament. Or would be if it was kept in the original language and not translated three times into Greek and then Latin and then finally the world languages.

What do you do with the fact that Jesus specifically said:

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father,
inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world
