Read John 15 in context. To whom is Jesus speaking?

His followers. Not "everybody".

He is commanding His followers to love one another.

Yes, Islam denies Jesus' divinity, and says Christians are all going to Hell, along with all the Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, atheists, and all other non-Muslims. I'd say that's not accepting Christianity as "one of the ways" to Heaven, wouldn't you?


Because Jesus said so! What part of "It's a key point of the Scriptures" don't you comprehend?

John 14:6

And that's not the only place:

John 3:16-18

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

This means that Hindus, Muslims, Jews, atheists, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs, etc. are all damned because they don't believe in Jesus.

I'm not complaining about Islam, I'm asking you to explain your assertion that all deities are "expressions of the same force".

How many times must I ask you the same question?

Most religions declare that theirs is the only way to Heaven. If all their prophets are influenced by the same "force", and all their deities are expressions of the same "force", why do nearly all of them get it wrong by declaring themselves the only way to Heaven, and often demanding that followers of other religions be shunned or even executed?

The cow is the source of the ghee with which the Brahmanas grow the sacrificial fires of their yagnas - without her milk, we would have no ghee, so dear to Agni, the Lord of Fire. Without Agni, we would not be able to make our sacrificial offerings to the Gods. So, yes, the cow was dear to my ancestors.

But the cow is far more important to us in this day and age for a very practical reason. Every year, millions of women die in childbirth in parts of rural India. The cow nourishes these motherless infants with her own milk. Thus, she becomes as a mother to these children who would die without her milk to sustain their lives. They thus grow up to revere her as a mother. And why wouldn't they ? Wouldn't you be in debt to someone who sustains your life as an infant (or, indeed, at any time in your life span) ?
