There are two great resources in my signature block. Bible in a Year is right on this forum, and enables you to read Scripture and discuss it with Landover's top theologians! Real Bible Stories lets you eavesdrop on a Sunday School class where the kids ask some really tough questions.

Both will help you read and understand the Bible, and know who God really is. Check them out!
      Bible boring? Nonsense!
Try Bible in a Year with Brother V, or join Shirlee and the kids as they discuss Real Bible Stories!

I shall continue reading into that more at a later time but for now I must be off. Thank you for sharing.

Hello my name is Ami. I attended a catholic church until I was old enough to not be dragged there by my mother. Do not currently belong to any church regrettably.
Would say my favorite scripture is Revelations 1.8
"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
          Always sounded so perfectly final.
I've always tried to keep a close bond to God since I was a child but older I get the less sure I am of how.
I was like that when I was young, and then I discovered how to get close to The Lord.

You need to go into the desert for 40 days and forty nights without no water, without no food, and eventually God will Come to you.

Since then I seen a donkey talk and I wrastled with God hisself like Jacob done did. He done went and whipped my ass!

I can turn my staff into a snake and back again, too. Everything is possible with JESUS.

              Re: Introduction

Okay I have been reading your forums and have become more discouraged than I already was. Few issues I am having and please help me with these because they are seriously damaging my calm.

First of all a rainbow is NOT a symbol of fags! It is a symbol of god. His promise never to flood the world again. And it's on His throne!
Revelations 4.3: "And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald."
So stop claiming this most holy symbol to a bunch of degenerate faggots. It does not come forth from them they are defiling it and it should be up to true Christians to reclaim it as such.

Second, naturally I have seen the forums claiming that woman wearing jeans is sinful. While I agree a woman dressing as a man is such. There is no claim I can find that jeans are either sinful or appropriate for any gender. Jesus himself wore robes not jeans. And as jeans are designed differently for both sexes I am truly conflicted on this point.

Looking forward to any guidance you can offer.

First of all, this is NOT a debate forum. We're right and you're wrong, according to Jesus and the Holy Word of God. Please read THIS thread before making an even bigger fool of yourself.

Secondly, while the internets might seem to be "free" to you, this particular corner of the internets is a privately owned Christian forum. The rights you have on this forum are listed HERE. Please contact a Pastor immediately if you feel that any of your rights have been violated.

Finally, your unsaved opinions or tantrums are not even slightly of interest to us. We follow the Holy Word of God TO THE LETTER, and make no apologies for that. One of the most important commandments in the Bible tells us to avoid unsaved scum such as yourself. You wandered in here uninvited, and unwelcome .
                Who Will Jesus Damn?

Of course Pastor Ezekiel no disrespect intended. One should not cause unrest in another's house. My sincerest apologies for attempting to do so. I do seek guidance on these issues but shall continue reading what has already been posted here to seek the answers.

I really need to talk to the pastors about blocking those messages.

This is what always confuses me.

You don't interpret it. This is just the way liberal false Christian's pervert the literal message of Jesus to suit their own consciences.

It is not currently in vogue to kill queers. It used to be the correct thing to do. Are we to say God changes His views and moral stance based on popular culture?

That is what the so called liberal media Christian elite will try and get you to swallow: these are the questions you need to ask.

Yes, the rainbow is put there by God to remind Himself not to drown everybody

Genesis 9:14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: 15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
