I know I'm only new but ...

Hi everyone!

I have been a church goer for all my life and I enjoy every minute I spend at church and studying the bible.

I am so happy I have finally found a site that upholds the same values that I do. it is very hard to be in a world where I am surrounded by sinners, but I know if I stick to my faith and with the help of all of you, I can remain a faithful follower of the lord.

I know I'm only new but ...

I know I am only new and I have not been given access to post in other forums but something has come to my attention and I am quite concerned, so that is why I am posting here.

My brother and I grew up attending church 3/4 times a week I am now 18 and he is 23, when my brother was my age he left home for college to study politics. He came home for a few days last weekend. He asked me look something up on his computer, whilst doing as he asked I noticed in his search history a lot of things like, satanic games and satanic verses and history.

I knew my brother had swayed from his faith a little whist he has been at college but I didn't know it had become this bad, I also found things like a pipe for drugs and three magazines which showed naked women and men in his belongings!

He has to have been influenced by sinners and followers of Satan for him to be involved in such activities. How can I help him and guide him back onto the path of salvation? I could not bare the thought of my brother going to hell just because some Satan loving, drug smoking fag has been trying to taint him!

I know with all your help we can make my brother see the way of god and help him become a righteous and faithful servant of the lord.

I will pray for your brother's worthless soul, but I don't think you should waste much time on him. You're a Christian, right? If so, you've got to understand that Jesus wants you to shun that rotten brother of yours:

Is there any way to pull him out of that college? If the choice is between a secular education and eternity in Heaven, it seems like an easy choice to me.

Welcome, Lucy. I understand from reading your other thread that you're eighteen years old. I would assume your husband has sired several sons on you at this point? What are their names and ages? Also, what is your favorite Bible verse, and what kind of pie do you like to serve your husband?

I have a son and a daughter, James he is 18 months and Grace she is 2 months.
My favourite bible verse, that is a tricky one .. There are so many that I hold dear to me and read almost every day to my children and husband.
My husband likes lemon merangue pie so that's what he gets

And I can't just shun my brother we are of the same blood, he can be saved and I know he can, I will do my best to save him!

If I could take him out of that college I would, but I can't make him come home with out his concent.

Hi Lucy.

The thing that you are forgetting is that he needs to come to Jesus by his own free will.

You can bend over backwards to show anyone how they will go to Hell for their sins and that they need Jesus in their lives but if they don't use their free will to make the right choice they are damned.

On a related note: has it ever entered your head that maybe Jesus knows he can't be saved? And that He is watching you to see how you react to your brother's sinful ways.

The whole point of God's friendliest, most inclusive website is that the unSaved are not welcome.

You have a chance to be saved but not if you ignore God (who already knows your brother's filthy lifestyle).

Jesus offer's you His hand: don't let your brother piss on His fingers.

Oh no it's not its the KJV1900. .. Let me guess, it's a different edition so its totally wrong? Am I right?
