    Oh dear God!

Hello, fellow internetusers, i am an atheist.

So far i have been only looking around on this site, and let the record tell i respect everyone, no matter their religion, belief and so on, but only a few minutes ago i stumpled across a thread that made me cry from laughter.

The thread was " 8 Reasons why GOD HATES DENMARK!".

I am a dane, i i don't find any of this offensive, not at all. It is all so much fun, i had to write my opinion on it. All of the now 10 reasons are complete ridiculous, and from my point of view, it is very hard to take serious. At first i thought it was all in fun and laughter, but i now realise that you all are very serious about it.

In regards to the "points" being made as to why god hates Denmark, let me try and clear some of it up for you wonderful people.

    1. The danish word for rapist is "viking". = FALSE, the danish word for rapist is "voldtægtsmand"
    2. Denmark is the driving force behind the global climate hoax. = FALSE, USA is the driving force behind GLOBAL WARMING along with china because of their massive carbondioxide outlets
    3. "Rasmussen" has not been prime minister in years, and he didn't compete in Tour de France?
    4. HC Andersen was just an author that have enriched many childrens lives with fairy tales?
    5. Lego was originally wooden toys, but later went on to make bricks. The word "lego" is a contraction of the words "leg" and "godt" which translates to "play" and "well". And how are children using Legos "sinfully", if they are, that's the parents fault.
    6. Pippi Longstocking is not danish, but rather swedish. The stories are written by "Astrid Lindgren", who is swedish.
    7. HAHAH, those TV shows are just ridiculous, i dare anyone to find proof that any such TV show has ever aired on danish television.
    8. Danish gay couples are allowed to adopt children, yes, but rape is still unacceptable, even by gay couples towards children, you have a sick imagination.
    9. In Denmark we pay high taxes, BUT we also get full healtcare, never paying for being hospitalised. And Denmarks economy is not the worst in Europe.
    10. B.T. has never published any such article, FAIL!

Also, as stated in the comments below the thread, the flag used in the thread is the finnish one, the danish flag has four red squares filled with a white cross.

I am sorry if i hurt anyone, that wasn't my intention, but i just thought the world should know the truth instead of the thoughts of a single hater of denmark. GOOD DAY TO YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLE"!

Welcome! What brings you to a Christian church's private discussion forum?

Are you interested in giving up your sin-wallowing, God-mocking. empty lifestyle and instead living a fulfilling life for Jesus?

Also, what made you decide to pretend God doesn't exist? Were you brainwashed?

        Re: Oh dear God!

Thank you for the question Alphonse.

I do not hate Jesus, i just don't believe in him, and therefore i don't prefer to "burn in hell", because i don't believe in hell either.

BTW, no i wasn't brainwashed, BELIEVE it or not, but you don't have to be brainwashed to not believe in god

I don't see how you could NOT believe in God without brainwashing.

I bet they taught you all about "evolution" and the "big bang" in school, for years on end, with not a word about how God created the universe for real.

          Am I right?

The child of True Christians would have Bible lessons in school, every day. He'd learn to memorize Scripture, and how to understand God's Laws so he can act as a judge to settle disputes.

That is how we prevent children being brainwashed by secularists who hate God.

It's also how we protect them from Islamists who want to force them to read the Koran and apply "sharia law".

                Re: Oh dear God!

Welcome friend, why do you hate God?
Why do you deny His existence?
You do know, without Him, you would not be alive.

                Do all denmarkians spell backwards?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Ah, but of course you do. If you are not with Jesus, you are against Him. Another thing is, that it is not a matter of believing in hell. Believe in it or not, the fact still remains that you will burn in hell for all eternity for not believing in Jesus.

                    Thank you for the welcome
I i explained earlier i do not hate God/Jesus by "denying" his existence, i simply DO NOT believe that there has to be a devine being for the universe to look as it does. And i DO KNOW that his influence on you, had nothing to do with my being alive.
An by the "Do all denmarkians spell backwards?", i guess you are referring to my username, which spelled backwards is "TheDane". No, not all DANISH PEOPLE do this, i just thought of it. Mark that it is called DANISH PEOPLE

I don't believe in absolutes either, and that is a bad absolute. Would you on another example say that if you are not "with" eating fruit, then you are against fruit? same principle

"refused to question my secular brainwashing and programming", see here is the basics of theist vs atheist, QUESTIONING. The reason why people moved away from God is because they questioned the thing he supposedly said. I have heard that questioning God is bad, therefore if i was to follow the word of Jesus, i should not question my beliefs either. And since i already know i'm not going to hell, i have nothing to worry about. Who would God be to deny people places in heaves SOLELY because of their beliefs and not their actions. I have never harmed another human being and i am a friendly chap, therefore burning me in hell would be seriously wierd, but i don't believe in that stuff anyways, so for me "hell" is the center of planet earth were molted iron i churning, and "heaven" i the nothingness above the clouds where only satellites and astronauts go

                              Yes, questioning God is bad.

When have you seriously studied the Bible (like you did those anti-Christian evolution books)?

I thought so . . . never questioned what you were brainwashed with.

How do you "know" that? I thought you only believed it. You must have evidence to know something; what is your evidence?

He'd be God, that's who. Heaven is His. He makes the rules, not us. He specifically has stated that you MUST believe or He WILL burn you alive for all time in His Lake of Fire.
