Thank you, Matthew, I appreciate your kindness. It is good to know that I am more than 4 generations removed from my ancestors who may or may not have been involved in killing Jesus. As far as the KJV 1611 is concerned, I think more people than just "the Jews" were involved in killing the Lord Jesus.

The Book of Acts 4:26-28 reads:
26 The Kings of the earth stood vp, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, & against his Christ.

27For of a trueth against thy holy child Iesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel were gathered together,

28 For to doe whatsoeuer Thy hand and Thy counsell determined before to be done.

Jesus Christ, our Lord, glory to His Name, died according to the will of God the Father at the hands of all aforementioned people (including Jews and Gentiles). So why am I and my fellow Jews are the only ones guilty?
Also, please name the chapter and verse in the Bible that says that Christ is an American, as Mr. Deaner informed me yesterday:
    "Dear Irinka the jewess,

You have received an infraction at The Landover Baptist Church Forum.

    Reason: Speaking satanic language
    -------
English only please. Christ is an American."
Joshua 1:6: "Bee strong, and of a good courage: for vnto this people shalt thou diuide for an inheritance the land which I sware vnto their fathers to giue them".

It's true that Italians and Gentiles were involved, but the Jews went one further: when given the opportunity to save Jesus, they paid the crowd to choose a criminal to be set free!

Jesus Christ is the living God, it is only natural that He should identify Himself with The United States of America.

Can you please elaborate? You have noted True Christians™ here for being like a "knight in shining armor" and "too sweet." If you're here to be pampered and glorified, you'll not find success. If you're here to glorify the LORD, then you are in good company.

Carl, what language was the Holy Word written in before 1611? Or was there no Word of God available before then? What language did the prophets write in? What language did Jesus speak when He lived and ministered in Israel? I by no means want to be "a troll" but I am looking for a bit of consistency: I was born in Russia=I am Russian (as was ably pointed out to me recently on this forum). Jesus was born to virgin Mary in Bethlehem in the land of Judah (known today as Israel, or Palestine). What does it make Him? I realize that His Father is God and He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, which would make Him a lawful resident of the Kingdom of Heaven, but I am not sure that the United States of America would be a likely homeland for Him. That is not to say, of course, that He would not have liked to live here or that it would not make a worthy home for the Lord. Understand, I am speaking purely on the basis of history. Am I making sense?

I'm sorry, Irinka. You are speaking in tongues as far as I'm concerned. All I know is that the Word of God is the King James Bible and it's written in His native language.

I am not at all complaining, and neither do I expect to be glorified - far be it from me. I am simply stating facts. I have not said anything rude, inappropriate or offensive to anyone, have I, Mary? If I have, I beg forgiveness and restate that the words I used were said without any malice or sarcasm or any mean thought behind them. The words "too sweet" and "knight in shining armor" were said with a smile, in all good fun, as our British friends would say. If this offended anyone, again, I ask for forgiveness. In the meantime, may the Name of our Lord Jesus be blessed and glorified here on this forum and in the hearts of those who love and follow Him!

Irinka the repentant Jewess praises Jesus as part of the choir at her church, playing the piano and singing. She also praises Jesus every day by teaching her children His Word and by helping them memorize Bible verses. She praises Jesus in the kitchen cooking three meals a day to please her beloved husband and to feed her family (she actually enjoys cooking very much and praises Jesus for giving her this love for creating tasty and healthy meals). She praises Jesus every day by tending to all the needs and desires of her husband. Finally, she praises Him at work by sharing His Good News with her patients in the Physical Therapy office.

This is wonderful, Irinka! I'm so glad you don't demand that your husband cook and clean.

But why is it you have to work in a physical therapy office? Does your husband not earn an adequate income? Or is it volunteer work, or maybe community service?
                        Bible boring? Nonsense!

Reverend, my husband had been laid off for 3.5 years, and went to school while looking for work and working odd jobs. I ended up having to work while he was at school and jobless. Now he graduated and got a job as an intern at a hospital (he does IT work, programming and network), but his intern salary is not enough to feed the family, so I have to work to pay the bills. Once he begins to earn a decent wage I can quit.

Why don't you pray for the LORD to give your husband a job? Then you can stay home and take care of your husband and children like a good Christian wife.

In fact, why don't you quit right away to show the LORD your faith? You could stay on your knees in prayer all day and night praising the LORD for His finding your husband a job in anticipation of His actually finding your husband a job.

That is a great way to grow in faith. I work only when the kids
are at school, so I am able to be at home with them when they need me. I also have enough time to cook, clean and do everything that is necessary. But you are right - I should quit and begin praying full time for my husband to find a job that pays a decent wage so I do not need to work. Thank you for your sound advice and for your sisterly concern, Mary!
