Oh, did she go? I was hoping she'd compare the approach of Wicca to the equal rights for women the church is moving towards these days.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I guess even a God-mocking gayboy can be right some of the time.

Say there, Oliver Brendan, have you ever considered becoming a Christian? We can use all the sharp minds we can get!

Look I'm honestly not trying to insult anyone here, I'm just stating my opinion on a Public forum. If you want to see my world, look up the Wiccan Wisdom Forums. They're people there that are everyday people just like you
First of all, this is NOT a debate forum. We're right and you're wrong, according to Jesus and the Holy Word of God. Please read THIS thread before making an even bigger fool of yourself.

Secondly, while the internets might seem to be "free" to you, this particular corner of the internets is a privately owned Christian forum. The rights you have on this forum are listed HERE. Please contact a Pastor immediately if you feel that any of your rights have been violated.

Finally, your unsaved opinions or tantrums are not even slightly of interest to us. We follow the Holy Word of God TO THE LETTER, and make no apologies for that. One of the most important commandments in the Bible tells us to avoid unsaved scum such as yourself. You wandered in here uninvited, and unwelcome .

If you want to debate people, THIS is the place to go.

Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.

If you consider "Jesus" to influence you through witchcraft (Jesus is clear that He does no such thing, incidentally) and that it doesn't matter the name of the person (by which I suppose you mean that whether He influences you "as" Jesus or the horned god or the moon or Krishna or Aphrodite or any other of several million other "higher powers" invented over the centuries, it is still Jesus) then why would you exclude "this 'Satan' character" from the list?

Indeed with Africans having thousands of chattering spirits each to contend with and the lugubrious ancestor obsession rampant across most of Asia there must be billions of the things by now.

    So in your list
1 The higher power exerting influence as Astarte
2 The higher power exerting influence as Baal
    :
655 The higher power exerting influence as a thousand nature spirits
656 The higher power exerting influence as Isis
    :
1,000,000 The higher power exerting influence as Osiris
1,000,001 The higher power exerting influence as Beelzebub
    :
875,642,554 The higher power exerting influence as a totem pole
875,642,555 The higher power exerting influence as Ishtar
875,642,556 The higher power exerting influence as the pope
    :
2,000,500,000 The higher power exerting influence as Mohammed
2,000,500,001 The higher power exerting influence as the witch of Endor
    :
5,750,256,940 The higher power exerting influence as Judith
5,750,256,941 The higher power exerting influence as Satan
5,750,256,942 The higher power exerting influence as Eve
    :
7,000,000,000 The higher power exerting influence as 666
7,000,000,001 The higher power exerting influence as Quetzalcoatl
7,000,000,002 The higher power exerting influence as Pythagoras
    :
    :
    etc.
why, all of a sudden at #5,750,256,941 or wherever this "influence" of a "higher power" appears on your list do you go "..oh ..no ..I don't believe in that one"?

I'm sorry but I don't believe in a devil or Satan.
    What's so special about Satan?

You are our guest and as such, you are expected to behave accordingly. I might suggest you read our rules before you start making baseless statements.

I can assure you that I do not wish to see "your world" and I am also quite certain that there are no "people just like me" at a midnight mass of hairy, unwashed heathens.

And here it comes; the preaching. They get a foot in the door and then it's all trying to get you to learn spells and to deny the Holy Spirit. Well you aren't going to claim someone for your dark master, Satan in this forum, missy.

As for True Christians being everyday people... we are a breed apart, a chosen people who will go straight to Heaven as soon as Jesus comes again because we are Saved.
    Revelation 20:4- 6
4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Meanwhile you will be judged, found wanting and cast into the lake of fire with Satan.
    Revelation 20:11-15
11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Find me a True Christian who doesn't believe that.

    I'm 120lbs.
I'm very popular in school and I'm rather petty
Children are delicious and I should be asking you that question.

Friend, that is simply not possible. God is a Christian, His teachings for us are in the KJV 1611 Holy Bible.
As is often the case with the deluded and addled, they take the acridic whisperings of Satan to be those of Jesus.
If God did in fact, influence your life, you would know it. it would not be something that you merely suspect.
