This isn't your forum. I pay lip service to abide by the rules and conditions laid out by the Pastors here. They tell me what I can and cannot do here, you don't.

Um, yeah. Did you even read any of that? Let's just look at the first two lines there:

"Evidence for the historical existence of Jesus of Nazareth (the Christ) as portrayed in the Bible is only found in three places: the Bible itself, other early Christian writings, and references by the various early churches (c. 100CE) to the long dead leader of those churches. There are no contemporaneous sources outside of the early Christian community..."
Do you really expect any of "the Bible itself, other early Christian writings, and references by the various early churches" to be unbiased?

    ...Ugh, you're a troll...
It's "arrogant atheist dick", thank you. You wouldn't know a troll if it trolled you very trollingly.

...Making me waste my time learning shit.
    Oh, my bad.

Yeah, you are most likely right. I really don't much know about other denominations.

But I sincerely believe if more Catholics, or Protestants, or Lutherans, or whatever little names they want to call themselves, really knew what their religion stood for... They would probably not follow it.

I only say this because nearly every Catholic person I know is all for tolerance and against discrimination. Little do they know, their religion advocates just the opposite.

On the note about "good lessons," I think they are taught to young children to keep the school environment safe for everyone. If a child is bullied for being, let's say homosexual, and the parents come to find that this is due to what they've been taught at school... The parents will most likely go after the school, and eventually even school board, for advocating violence.

It would be too much of a hassle for the politically correct world is the true Bible was taught to young children in the schools.

HAHA, oh my goodness, I was never forced to do anything of that sort with anyone! See, that is a shallow stereotype. My elementary school did not have a priest, or even it's own church for that matter. We would take a bus ride to the town's church around Christmas time, lent, and Easter for masses. That was about it. Plus, every priest I've ever met was very nice. I will admit though that they do tend to smell like whiskey.

Yeah, about the emotion thing, I corrected myself earlier- humans and animals. I posted an article on it too, if you care to backtrack a little.

I don't know about that last one. I don't even really want to touch that one. The Earth is obviously older than...... No, no, no, I can't.

You know what the funny thing here is? The True Christians™ neither need nor want any evidence (aside from the Bible) that Jesus existed. They have faith, which is all that God wants from them. It's only those who are weak in their faith that need "proof".

Was a pair of sandals stamped with the inscription, "This Belongs To Jesus Christ, Lamb Of God" found in a cave or something? Do you really think the LORD would give us the gift of faith (Ephesians 2:8) if all He intended to do was to give us physical evidence?

Oh no, the LORD is much bigger than that!

He knows science is constantly changing its mind. Scientists are flawed, fallible humans with their own biases and agendas. That's why Salvation requires belief, so no one can trick another or make a mistake, but most importantly, so no one boast (Ephesians 2:9).

Well I attempted a good search for evidence and it up inconclusive. With that said, I admit that science had nothing to do with proving the existence of Jesus. Sorry for the few people who got a little excited there.

I said I went to Catholic elementary school, it drove me away from religion, and I am here to attempt to understand what real Christians are about. Am I going to express my opinion in the meantime? Yes. Am I doing it in a troll like fashion? I don't believe so.

And really, I don't care about the seniority of people on a church forum website, it's the freaking Internet. This is not an elitist circle here, this is people sharing thoughts and scripture.

Does someone have the standard "although the internet may seem free" speech?

Ah, I'll go look for it
