If you would permit me to ask, I'd like to invite your wife over for pie sometime soon. It's the least I can do for an obviously Godly man like yourself.

Holy Holly, how nice of you to open your home to my wife! Coincidentally, we will be in your area soon. I am planning a trip to the Godly state of Texas later this month to visit with one of my dearest friends in Christ who works as a chaplain for the Texas Department of Corrections in Huntsville. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, I'd like to drop my wife off with you for, say, a day or two, and then head over to Huntsville on my motorcycle (I'll be trailering it to Texas). I'd welcome the opportunity to get to know your husband and sons if they're available to ride with me. We shouldn't be more than a day or two, possibly three or four, but by no means much more than five days. If they've got a little vacation time coming, I'm confident they'll find the outing spiritually invigorating.

Thank you, Mr. Hutchins. I spoke briefly with my son earlier this evening via Skype, mentioned your kind offer, and he is pretty stoked about it! He's been deployed for the last ten months and was wondering if there are any places in Appalachia where a good Christian soldier might do a little "missionary" work, where he might be welcomed home properly. We're now planning on making our little bike tour into four or five days of ministry, spending some quality father-son time together, and bringing the Word of Christ Jesus to some of the less fortunate folks in the area before heading back to post where he and his wife can then get on with the blessed task of giving me another grandson before he is deployed again. He'd love a Ducati, rides a Suzuki now. I ride a Yamaha Road Star 1700. After what I've learned about HD and some of their "policies of inclusion", I can't bring myself to own one. Sorry if that offends any Harley snobs out there, but after seeing two women on an Ultra Classic and learning that one of them holds a position of authority up in Milwaukee, I do not wish to be seen on one of their machines. Can you imagine? A woman piloting a motorcycle?

Thanks for uploading a photo, Mr. Thyme. It's nice to be able to put a face to the name. I can tell you're our kind if people. If you know what I mean.

But that reunion will have to wait a day or two after his return as he and I are planning to ride our motorcycles through the hills of Kentucky and Tennessee (sans wives) and spend some quality time together visiting a few of the tobacco plantations, distilleries, and Baptist churches that dot the landscape of that beautiful area. Appalachia is full of good Christian folk, from what I've heard.

It's never too late to impose some Godly discipline (well, except for your daughters, maybe)!

As a Titus 2 woman, I am pleased to share with the younger women those things that have worked well in the Etheldreda home. You are more than welcome to share the following information with your sons:

By the time they'd each made it through high school they had both slipped into full-blown career and college aspirations instead of raising families. It wasn't until a few years later that we realized they would not be giving us grandchildren because the persons with whom they chose to share their beds are of the same weaker gender. Anyone knows that offspring cannot be produced from such lowly and unholy unions. I wish I could figure out where my wife went wrong in raising them.

I hope you find comfort in the Blessed LORD's Sweet Justice (Revelation 20:15), and that you will be so distracted when joining the LORD in laughing at the suffering of sinners in Hell, that you'll forget to be sad about your wicked children burning in the Lake of Fire (Psalm 2:4).

I'm ever so grateful for the "young man". It's been a good while since I was called such. I've uploaded a photo of myself taken last summer outside the narthex after our Wednesday evening Men's Bible Study. I hope it shows up next to my name soon so you can see I'm not so young anymore. I've never been to Peoria, but it can't be any worse than my hometown of Marengo when it comes to roving packs of limp-wristed predators casing the playgrounds. I'm so glad for you that you finally let Jesus have His way with you. As you may know, Illinois is the last remaining state that does not allow for legally carrying a concealed weapon. As I have no wish to be victimized, I practice a little civil disobedience to prevent being thus violated.
