As a Psychotheological Analyst Therapist I'm sure you are aware that when people are invested in any such paradigm they are unable to apply proper critical thinking to it. It's only once we step outside of our belief system that we are properly able to critique it.

My presence on these boards among the true Christians is a allowing me to step outside the atheist paradigm and apply proper critical thinking to my own long held beliefs.

It's incredibly enlightening and I thank all the True Christians on this board for allowing me to stink up the boards with my sin whilst I do so.

I must say too that the King James Bible is a surprisingly good read.

I must say that your words are most reminiscent of mine own conversations with the Hell bound.

Being able to step outside of one's perspective and into a more posivitavist epistemological framework is the hallmark of being able to influence paradigm shift in even the most entrenched atheistical into accepting Jesus into their lives.

Well atheism for me has always been the default position Mary.

Granddad was a believer but he had a horse roll on him when I was very young so his influence was minimal.

Grandma was a believer but she had suffered a couple of strokes and was in a wheelchair and whenever she started trying to instill the fear of God into us kids mum would tell us it was the dementia talking.

Dad went down to the big city to attend university and came back married to a secular woman.

We lived in a remote area in the Kimberly region and were educated via the School of the Air, which back then used shortwave radio to reach isolated communities. I don't remember religious studies being a big part of the curriculum.

Hence I grew up without any religious instruction and have never really thought to much about it.

You will find that we are truly fun, and full of love.

If only we could convince more hellbound atheists like you.

    Yours in Christ,

A catlick; well that pretty well explains everything. You guys don't read the Bible, you talk to statues.

But seeing that you have said that you've read the Bible; what does the Bible say we should do to gay people?

This is the type of unfettered honesty that opens the gates of Heaven to your soul. It is obvious you are on the path to Christ's warm embrace.

    Hi Kayla for Christ

As a teenager growing up on a cattle station in the remote northwest of Australia a stockman got me drunk and lured me into performing fellatio on him. The incident left a bad taste in my mouth regarding homosexual behavior so I can certainly agree that such a death spiral is the result of such actions.

Why all the hostility, friend? Here we are welcoming a new friend into the community, and you come along and share such anger. What happened? Did your priest molest you as a child? Why do you hate Jesus so very much? Hellbound Jim is a rare breed, indeed - an atheist who is polite and civil and honest. Surely the LORD is working through Him. You know, the LORD can work through you, too! In fact, the LORD can touch you in a very special way!

In the meantime, you are most welcome to introduce yourself HERE so we can greet you properly! You can read all kinds of helpful information ON THIS THREAD for newcomers like yourself.
