  • Greetings

    Hello there,
My name is Kaelyn. I was raised by good Christian parents and have always worked to ensure that I follow God's law. I have tried very hard to also raise my children the same way and though my son has been great and will be a good Christian man, I have been having many difficulties with my daughter. I am interested in reading the views of like minded people in the hope that I may find a way to reach her before it is too late.

    Hi, Kaelyn

What church do you attend? Who is your pastor? I may know him.

What kind of difficulties are you having with your daughter? We're here to help.

    Regards,

    Pastor Ed

Hello, and welcome to our friendly forums! There are a number of parents here on this board who can help with character shaping of children. Give us an idea of what you're facing, and we'll help you find a Biblical response.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Hi, Kaelyn, and welcome to God's Favorite Church®! Glad to hear it.

I have tried very hard to also raise my children the same way and though my son has been great and will be a good Christian man, I have been having many difficulties with my daughter. I am interested in reading the views of like minded people in the hope that I may find a way to reach her before it is too late.
Have you tried beating your daughter with a rod? That's the Biblical solution to problems with disobedient children. It really works! But if, for some reason, that doesn't do the trick, you can still take comfort in the fact that only one of your two children will suffer in eternal agony in Hell.

Welcome to the forum Kaelynx. You've been very blessed with your son. One in a thousand men is virtuous, but good luck trying to find a virtuous woman (Eccl 7:28). I would give up hope of trying to make your daughter a virtuous woman. The best you can do is curb her sinfulness.
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
