Did you read my first post or are you too ashamed to read what I type on this forum?

I am an atheist. I don't believe in God.

I was a fundamentalist Christians attending seminaries and I was going to be a minister, however, I began to investigation into the topic of Christianity and religion as a whole for enjoyment. Years later, rationality made my faith in any God and the Bible to fly out of the window. This was because I was studying religion, philosophy, history and science that made me change the way I understood the universe and the world around, making me a better man. This helped me go into the industry of science, ending up in University and achieving my Master's degree. I no longer defend atheism; I actively promote it. Nevertheless, I understand this is a Christian forum to praise Jesus, and that is why I came. Of course, I don't want to make people into atheists, even though I do believe atheism and secular humanism are vastly better than religions in ensuring our survival and achieving our potentials as humans. But I want to learn from other 'True' Christians and understand your own views of The Bible and God, together with why you believe in what you do.

If there is any one who should have shame here it is you. You could spend the whole weekend reading this forum and not bother anyone and get the 'knowledge' that you seek.

However, you are not a learner you are a troublemaker. Why should I not be on guard?

You can be on 'guard' all you want. I want to learn why you believe what you do, like I did when I was a Christian, however, all you're doing is giving reasons without sufficient evidence to support your claims. One of the many reasons why I became an atheist.

How do you know Heaven and Hell exist? How do you know God is the one that sends people to these places?

I can't answer that question because I don't believe in Heaven and Hell. But, if you want me to answer the question from a atheist perspective, a person who doesn't believe in Hell, then all of the people are missed.

I did respond to a comment. I'm haven't changed the subject. You questioned why I used the Star Trek quotation, and I've supported that reason throughout two posts on this thread.

I didn't go looking for a reason not to believe in God. My study was to specifically fulfill my obligation (I Peter 3:15) where I am expected to provide an answer and reason for the hope that I had. It was a way of finding out if my beliefs were actually justifiable, and whether I was able to give good reason for other people to believe things I believe when was a Christian. Science is based upon proof, evidence, testable and useful, while religion is based upon faith. There is no sufficient reason(s) for you to believe the Bible is true, unless if you can provide otherwise?

And this misunderstanding was your problem all along; you never knew I Tim 6:20-21...

You had no idea that by investigating and opening your mind to possibilities outside of the Bible that the Devil would slip right in and set up shop in your heart. And now here you are.

Because unlike you, we were broken people who just didn't have it together. Our lives were in shambles without a higher power directing us. We needed God to make us complete. But unlike you, we came to acknowledge that we were sick and needed our Spiritual Physician, the Savior (see Matt 9:11-13). You remain stedfast in your defiance of God and Godly standards, which makes you much worse off than we ever were (see John 9:40-41).

In response to what you have stated above, there is no sufficient reason(s) for you to believe the Bible is true. When we go to investigate the Bible, not only do we have this problem about not knowing who the authors are, and not having any original copies, we find that the Bible is contradictory to itself in places, contradictory to science and other places, and incorrect to some of historical findings. There is no reason for you to believe the Bible is true. Quoting the Bible isn't going to get you anywhere because you haven't demonstrated why anyone should consider the Bible to be true or authoritative.

Amazing how scared you are of view that challenge yours, if you "god" is so great it would be able to cope with those that don't feel as you do.

See when you follow a real God, like I do, and not a made up one like you do, you can cope with those have not yet accepted to truth and do not need to be so aggressive towards them.

Wrong. Atheists only profess not to believe in God. Deep down, you know He exists (Rom 1:18-20) and you hate God (Rom 1:30). It's just like how you used to profess to be a Christian, but deep down you weren't really (Jn 10:28-29).

I'm an atheist not because I love "sin", considering I don't believe it. I'm an atheist because there is no evidence; nor is there a need for a God.

There is a question doing the rounds on YouTube that shifts the burden of proof to the atheist. So far no atheist has been able to answer it.

You need to verify the premises, and not claim that their true because they haven't been disproven, and if you don't understand that, you have no business making claims that you believe something based on the arguments. Let's assume we have no explanation for the origin of the universe. We're now in a position where we have no explanation, and not in a position with theist explanation suddenly becoming plausible for lack of something better. This is the fallacy you are creating.

Your question is nonsensical. The burden of proof is on the one making the extraordinary claim. You shouldn't believe a thing until a reason is given. Atheism is a lack of theism. I don't see you trying to prove the non-existence of the tooth fairy.
