Well... have you confessed your sins to Jesus? Have you accepted Him as your Lord and Master? You know, there is no sin Jesus' Blood cannot wash clean (and by "clean" I mean really CLEAN - so clean God Himself can't see! Isaiah 44:22). Consider how Jeffrey Dahmer was Saved and is right now at this very minute seated at the footstool of Jesus Christ Himself in Heaven right now! Look, if God can not remember the perverted crap Dahmer did in his unsaved days, what on earth could get through those Divine Blinders? In any case, I would direct you to our very helpful resource here:

You see, thousands of years ago, God, in His infinite wisdom, chose to speak to all humanity through the writings of pre-industrial, unhygienic, goat herders. Oh sure, it may be true to our fallible minds today to think of their moral code as equal to that of a Third World dictator. Some may argue that an omniscient God should have mentioned the importance of washing hands or boiling water, or even the idea that having sex with children might not be cool after all. However, it is also true that these divine commandments and lessons, written in a pre-industrial culture in which the entire world was understood to be as large as the area a man could walk in a year, offers the only means by which an individual can avoid the same fate your brother is currently suffering (and will for all eternity).

Even after all I have done I can be saved?

Well, then, it sounds to me like he failed. This would not happen if the Holy Spirit was with him. If you don't want to follow him into Hell, I suggest you stop feeling sorry for yourself and start reading your Holy Bible.

If you were Truly Saved(tm), you would not longer desire revenge, dear. You would desire only serving the Will of God.

I will say, however, that sometimes God does bless us in compelling us to take care of justice in His Name with a certain kind of... satisfaction.

                    Yes and no.

God has promised that all sinners will get their comeuppance in this life.

Prov 11:31 Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.

                    Except those that don't.

1Tim 5:24 Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.

The Christian should be passive-aggressive. Be kind to your enemies in the knowledge that God will one day punish them. God can do worse to your enemies than you ever could.

                    Rom 12:19-21
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? My heart leapt when I read the title of this thread. Often I have wished I could do more for our military. I would gladly serve an entire platoon of Marines if I felt it might bring them a sense of appreciation for your service. At this Holy time of year, I pray that I can service the Marines. Do you like hot, steamy pie? I can also provide you with wholesome, healthy, deep fried chicken breasts. If anything will get you past the loss of your brother, my breasts will, dear. I pray that the Holy Spirit will penetrate the bowels of your being, uplifting the cockles of your heart as you realize that Christ Himself died for you. You need not live in despair or doubt, for no matter what you have done in your past, He will wash you white as snow. Just so I can picture you properly, sweetheart, do you generally wear boxers or briefs? I ask so I can imagine the perfect lines of your uniform. It helps when I am in my prayer closet to visualize the subject of my supplications. Psalm 39:7 may be a great verse for you. What are you waiting for, indeed? Allow JESUS to fill your heart with His love and perfect peace.
