If not, off with it. Guaranteed the young ladies will be more interested without that ugly fungus. Also the "interest" of young ladies couldn't be less relevant. If the father of said young lady commands her to marry Mr. Gladwell III, she will marry Mr. Gladwell III. So it is the father Mr. Gladwell III will have to please, not the young lady.

I agree. In fact, I think it helps affirm your masculinity and heterosexuality.

I recall a couple of the ladies of the church speaking about a certain young man that had gone through one of the Healing from Homosexuality programs my pastor presents quarterly. The ladies were saying that the young man had a beard and I believe they said the beard would "help people to think he is straight." I was so happy and jubilant in my soul when the young man (I think his name was Bruce) turned away from sin and joined the ranks of Jesus' hetero men.

For the life of me, though, I didn't ever notice his having facial hair. His beard must have been awfully light.

It's not the beard per se that's the problem - it's the big hole in it below the lower lip surrounded by the thin moustache. All the bearded posters who have replied have nice full beards, not beards that look as though they've been manicured.

I found the hair between my lips to be a magnet for food. I shaved it off years ago after it became hopelessly knotted with molten Velveeta and have not looked back. NOT EVEN ONCE.

The beard is not the problem. The problem is that 99.99% of attractive, available women are WHORES, just like my WHORE EX-WIFE. As a Christian man of means, I will endure until God sees fit to bring "THE ONE" into my life. I KNOW SHE'S OUT THERE!

I think Sister Mother is not trying to henpeck, but rather offer constructive criticism. You may not agree with the advice, and verily you have your reasons to disagree, but there is no need to make it a contest of self-proclaimed righteousness. On this point of pride I must lovingly rebuke you:

I believe it was Sister Mary (bless her heart) that posted a sort of pecking order for the forums that showed the level of respect due to each particular designation. Perhaps she could post that again to clarify when it is proper to rebuke another poster. Jesus wants us to follow His Divine plan when it comes to putting people in their place.

As a True Christian (TM) woman, I am beneath you, of course, which is a place I am happy to claim at any time.
