    New here and disappointed father

Hello! I'm a father of two teenage daughters (16 and 18) and I go to a local Baptist Church. I wasn't raised particularly religiously, but Jesus came to me in a dream, which inspired me to start reading the Good Book. Now I'm trying to pass this enlightenment on to my daughters and get them to have some discipline, but I'm having a hard time.

    My favorite Bible verse:

Hebrews 12:11: For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
See a recurring theme? I suppose my main reason for being here is that I want to learn to teach my out-of-control daughters some discipline, or maybe learn myself how to get them more under control. I don't even want to get started about the sins they regularly commit.

Also, I realize that I'm under investigation because I already made a post in another thread before starting this one here. Whoops, sorry about that!

Welcome, friend! Just a heads up, we use only the King James Version around here, not any of those newfangled (mis)translations. As for your daughters, you've left it rather late to get them used to discipline. A child's will needs to be broken very early. Persevere in prayer and reading the Bible. Keep asserting your God-given authority. It'll all work out in the end, I'm sure.
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

You will have to beat them, Brother. What sinning have they been up to? Let us know every sordid detail, that we may advise you.

          Repentance is the way.

Welcome and feel free to search the other threads for educational tips.

But if they reached 16 and 18 without proper beatings they're probably sluts by now.

          PRAY TO JESUS!

Why are you worried about your daughters? If we were speaking of your sons, I'd be a little more inclined to offer support. I realize you love these wayward children, but take a little more time to prioritize, brother.

It's not like women have any real worth in this world. As a Christian, you must understand that there are some things in this life God has ordained as a pecking order. Praise Him that you are His servant, Praise Him that you will do everything He expects of you, and glorify Him because when you do these things, He will make a decision further down the road to give you a really nice house or incinerate you for a long time - well, forever. GLORY TO JESUS! It's His perfect, perfect plan, Hallelujah! I am so tingly with the Holy Spirit as I write this. I want to SHOUT!

Where's your wife in all this, anyway? She had a huge responsibility in making sure your daughters turned out right. Be sure to discipline her as well.

My father never beat me and I am a sinner. I've had to teach myself the ways of the Lord to keep me from being a devilish harlot, so start disciplining NOW! This is the right thing to do for the future. Teach your daughters submissiveness, the Bible, and to fear God. If you don't they will burn in Hell! I've only been spanked once, and I've done many more things deserving of spanking, which is why if I die now I will burn in Hell. Have them memorize the Bible. It may be too late for your older daughter, but you still have a chance for your younger daughter!

All kinds of sinning. I know my 18 year old slept with a boy last year and my 16 year old was once caught "making out" with another girl. They definitely both need to be punished.

I live in the backwoods with a large forest in the backyard so I have a lot of room to do all kinds of things uninterrupted, and my neighbors are very understanding and also understand true Christianity. Also, my brother lives nearby and is a carpenter who's always willing to help me build structures of various sorts, which may include something to lock them up in (which he would fully support as well). So how specifically should I punish my lesbian daughter and my slutty teenage daughter? Something old fashion may be in order.

Well, your older one is spoiled goods, can't even get you 50 shekels if she's to marry her rapist.

But your younger one is just a question of finding a proper young True Christian to make her a serious woman. (there is a recent thread from another case like yours)
