Why are you bringing abortion into this?

No, you misunderstood me. I am not talking about learning from Jesus in regards to spiritual/religious matters.

I am talking about his actions from an entrepreneur's view point. In a lot of ways, he (assuming we consider him the founder of Christianity as a religion) created the ultimate company (Christianity). This "company" has not only manged to function for more than 2000 years, but has been pretty successful as well. Granted, the competition as well as the decline in demand has delivered some blows to it, but then again, nothing lasts forever.

      Re: Introduction.

Sorry friend, Jesus is not God for a buck. He is in the Christianty game to offer Salvation for your Soul. Eternity in Heraven is forever, just like an eternity in Hell. You have a choice. Make the smart one.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Greetings Scorch! (Is your last name Nsoda?)

You might have noticed you have wandered into the dysfunctional world of a very minor and marginalized cult of would be Christians who are not very welcoming to those like you who are seeking a better dialogue with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Fortunately for you I am here to offer a reasoned and reasonable alternative to the strident and unapologetic rudeness that typifies outback off-shoots like the Landrover Baptist Church.

We Catholics have been at the vanguard of Christianity for two thousand years now and I assure you that the true view of the teachings of Jesus is to be found not in the photo-copy hand outs of hinterland splinter groups but in the well documented history of love and compassion that defines The Holy Roman Church!

If you have some questions about Christianity and how it can be the guiding light of your life please feel free to send me a p.m. or drop by any of the hundred thousand plus Churches and Chapels we operate 24/7 in every corner of the earth. Tell them Father Mo sent you. You'll be glad you did!

Bless you, my likely Northern European,
        Father Mo

No, my last name is not Nsoda.

And I will stick to atheism, hasn't steered me wrong yet.

Either way, it was fun to talk about this, but now that my weekly dose of amusement has been filled I bid you all farewell.

          Toodles.

Son, atheism can't "steer" anyone - it posits the absence of something, like God. It doesn't have much to say about anything else.
                Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
                ...and get off my lawn

Uh, how do you know that if you're not an atheist?
Could it be that you're also a fellow atheist?
