    Should I feel accepted here?

    I am a strict Christian who loves god and knows he loves me and my family. My husband and I go to church regularly and are not accepted in many places. We both believe strongly in feminist ideals that everyone is equal in the eyes of god and that we should not live under traditional gender roles. We have two adopted children that we do not force our ideas on. They read the bible on a regular basis but we do not exposed them to anything that may change the way they grow up until they are at an age where they may make their own decisions. Are we welcome in this community?

      Thanks for the quick response! Currently my husband and I are looking for a loving church where we will be accepted. My personal favorite Bible verse is Galatians 5:23 and I was born into a loving Baptist family and baptized as a child.

            Oh no, they arent connected at all. I just love the verse because I think it shows how gods love can rise above all else, no matter who you are and what you've done wrong god will always care about you.

                  I clearly do have a lot to learn, thats one of the reasons why I signed up. We are looking forward to learning the truth.

                  And of course I have his permission to be posting here, we have been talking for a while about finding a Baptist group online.

                    I'm so sorry, I've just realized that I forgot to specify that I am a man in a homosexual marriage. That is why I was so afraid we would not be accepted. But im glad to know that we will be able to continue to learn more about the bible and gods love!

                      You should be more worried about whether God will accept you into His kingdom.

                        I'm very confident that both my husband and I will be accepted into heaven as we both love and follow Jesus and he loves us just as much as everyone else on His beautiful earth.
