    The Lord pervades me

Hello. My name is Molly and I spend all my time studying the Lord's word. Every time I open my Bible, I find God again as He pervades my very being. He fills me with joy and with sorrow, with love and with hate and sates my hunger so that I have little need for food.

Jude 1:26-31 26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
    Psalm 119:97

    Re: The Lord pervades me

Welcome to God's favorite forum, Molly! I love the Bible too. I get withdrawal symptoms if I try to go more than a few hours without reading it. What church does your husband take you to?
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

I believe that Sabbath services should go all day. Because they don't, I go from Baptist church to Baptist church. After all, it's His day, not ours.
Exodus 31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

I trust this forum closes on the Sabbath

Welcome, Molly, to our Godly forum. Tell me, are you married? Because it worries me that you say you spend all your time studying the Lord's word and have little need for food. Your husband and sons need to eat, you know!

You may of course still be very young. If this is the case, has your father started to seek out a True Christian(TM) husband for you?

I look forward to getting to know you better.

1 Timothy 5:3-6 3 Honour widows that are widows indeed. 4 But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God. 5 Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day. 6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

Mark 12:41-44 41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money linto the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. 42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. 43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: 44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

                    Hello Holy Molly.

I had to look up pervades in the dictionary it also said percolates that is the old way to make coffee.

I am glad your father is on the right hand of Jesus there is a story in the Bible I do not have it marked it says Jesus does not decide who sits on the right side of Jesus but God decides so that is a good thing because that is as high as it goes.

                    Thank you.

My dear Mr Holbeck, that would be Mark 10:40 But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.

My dearest husband, and since he went to the Lord 3 years ago, one of the pastors looks in on me every now and then.

Psalm 68:5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

He visits occasionally, but not often, as I offer him no victuals. I have none to offer. I eat well on the Sabbath as I visit 4 or 5 different church services. I carry a deep purse, and the pastor's wives always place cookies and fruit in it for me. So I need buy no food.
