Sure thing, pal. Stop hiding behind Scripture when you don't take it seriously, except for a few bits that confirm what you wanted to believe anyway. Jesus (the real Jesus, not your fantasy Jesus) had plenty to say about religious hypocrisy.

And yet are the same, proving once again only an infinitely powerful God could be both the same, and different, and yet not different, and yet not exactly the same!

As you no doubt recall, Isaiah 9:6 tells us that the Son was given and the Child was born. Jesus was always part of the Triune Godhood, along with the Holy Spirit. The Trinity has always existed, God-the-Father, God-the-Son, God-the-Holy Spirit, not three gods, but one God existing as three persons. Jesus taught that He and His Father are one (John 10:30), and we know God-the-Son wouldn't lie about this because God-the-Father is trustworthy. He tells us to trust Him, so He must be (Psalm 62:8).

When God-the-Father took on the form of God-the-Son, He gave up His Heavenly Glory to become a servant (Philippians 2:5-11). As God-the-Son, He had to learn obedience to Himself / God-the-Father (Hebrews 5:8). We know of course that He was tempted by Satan, accused falsely by men, rejected by His people, and eventually crucified, even though He as God-the-Father knew in advance what to expect, as well as the eventual outcome. God-the-Son praying to Himself as God-the-Father showed His dependence upon Himself in His humanity to carry out His plan of redemption, as evidenced in His high priestly prayer in John 17. His praying demonstrated that He ultimately submitted to His will, which was to go to the cross and pay the penalty (death) for our breaking God's law (Matthew 26:31-46). See? They are still One.

Did you obey this scripture by saying these things to me?

What you say is blasphemous, offensive, and down right bizarre.

Where did I usurp your authority?

Oh? Pray tell, what possible assistance can the son of Satan offer me (John 8:44)?
