I first learned about this forum from my daughter, after I near broke my hand disciplining her. She came across this sight during her supervised 15 minutes of internet last week, and thought I could find some tips on disciplining my women from the True Christians here. I largely consider myself to be a true Christian, as I have been a follower of Christ my entire life. I interpret the bible literally, and currently work as a scientist in a lab dedicated to proving young-earth creationism. I was raised a Christian, and have never doubted my faith along the way. My favorite bible verse would be Genesis 19:31-35, as it's only thanks to that verse that I was conceived.

Well, as a babe, you were a sinner and a liar (psalm 58:3) so what about Him changed you from being the wicked babe you were when you were born, to the Christian you say you are now?

There is no need to interpret it at all, just take the bible the way it is written. I suspect that is what you meant when you say you interpret it literally, but just be careful when you say interpret, that would imply you like using rational thinking.

I would say the main reason I transformed from a hellbound babe into a respectable man of Christ would be my father. Thanks to his rigorous beatings and lessons, I became the Christian I am today.

I discipline my kids by putting cigarette buts out on the back of their neck. After a good hard work on Sunday, I make them eat at the dinner table only using their hands.

Yes indeed! Back in my darker days of youth, i unfortunately fell in the arms of Satan through masturbation. Thankfully, my father was a proper Christian, and taught me through punishment (cage) the right way to go.

I am sorry to hear that your mother is also your sister. Not that God has a problem with that (Genesis 19:36), but it must have caused at least a little confusion at dinnertime while you were growing up. Do you think it worked out okay? Do you plan to have children with your daughter? Just curious.

No, I always knew it was biblically correct, and it never turned out to be a problem. I do, in fact, intend on having children with my daughters if my wife cannot bear me a son.
