    Salutations

Greetings, my name is Irvin. (I'd rather not say my last name for the sake of anonymity.) I'm 19 years old, and I live in Chicago. I was raised into a religious family. My father is a deist and my mother is a Christian.
I don't attend church. My favorite Bible verse is Exodus 20:13, "You shall not kill". I was a strong Christian when I was about 5, but I began to fall away until I became a deist at 11, and finally, an atheist at 15.
I like cats (I own one cat, who I named Dawn), fish (I own three, and don't worry, I make sure the cat and fish don't get near each other), chess (I've known how to play chess since age 5), Role-play games (TES III: Morrowind is probably my favorite RPG), 2d fighting games, (Skullgirls is my favorite, and in fact, where I got this name), cooking (Mexican food), and reading (Historical Fiction).
I don't plan to cause any debates, only to state the opinion of atheists where you have misinterpreted it. I apologize in advance if I spark any debates. I will try not to cause any.

    Re: Salutations

Hello person whose name actually comes from the Bible, not some atheist game about necrophilia.

I am saddened to hear that your parents failed you. Having a poo worshiping deist father no doubt lubricated your slide into sin. I can assure you though, we do not misinterpret the filth, debauchery, and infant cannibalism perpetuated by atheists. If anything we are too gentle with our treatment of them in order to spare the delicate sensibilities of our pure and fragile women-folk.
Psalm 137:9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

      Irvin, welcome.

I don't think it's an accident that you're here. I think... there is still an ember or two of the divine fire within you–embers desperate for the holy oxygen of the Almighty that they may be set aflame.

I am, myself, a recovering homosexual. By stock, I am utterly unworthy of the least notice of the fine True Christians of this forum, and yet, in reflection of the infinite mercy of their father-OUR father-they have not only tolerated my existence, but indeed ministered to my spiritual needs and provided positive reinforcement as I struggle to pin the demon of homosexuality to the mat once and for all.

Keep your mind and heart open, Irvin. Could you see yourself returning to the flock? Perhaps not now, but...

Matthew 19:26 – But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

      Yours in Christ
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. – John 8:36

I'm an agnostic so I do try to keep an open mind to new ideas. I still respect Christianity. I think that it has some good morals.

All morality springs from God and the Bible. Every last bit of it. Look at what happened to your daddy. He became a hell-bound dung worshiper because he was amoral. People with morals don't worship manure, they worship God.

                Re: Salutations

I know that Leviathan comes from the Bible (from Job, in fact). I just rediscovered and took more of an interest in the word meaning large sea monster while playing Skullgirls.
The game also isn't about necrophilia, there's only one undead character, Squigly. She's heavily clothed.
I neither kill infants nor eat infants. This is what I meant by misrepresenting. I try to be a moral person, by using empathy. I've never intentionally done anything that's harmed anyone else.
As for the poem, it's what Leviathan says occasionally before battle. I found it interesting and have decided to post it as my signature.

I believe that God is a hypocrite due to him killing so many without feeling bad.
I don't believe that all morals came from a God. I currently believe that empathy dictates or morals. Killing is wrong because I do not want to be killed. If someone asked to be killed, we should make sure they aren't joking, then fulfill their wishes.

First of all, this is NOT a debate forum. We're right and you're wrong, according to Jesus and the Holy Word of God. Please read THIS thread before making an even bigger fool of yourself.

Secondly, while the internets might seem to be "free" to you, this particular corner of the internets is a privately owned Christian forum. The rights you have on this forum are listed HERE. Please contact a Pastor immediately if you feel that any of your rights have been violated.

Finally, your unsaved opinions or tantrums are not even slightly of interest to us. We follow the Holy Word of God TO THE LETTER, and make no apologies for that. One of the most important commandments in the Bible tells us to avoid unsaved scum such as yourself. You wandered in here uninvited, and unwelcome .

If you want to debate people, THIS is the place to go.

And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.
                      Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

                        Hello, young Friend,

You are interesting and eager and adorable, aren't you! ...young and filled with self-proclaimed righteousness. It's cute and it can be eventually be tamed to serve God, to help Jesus in His tasks!

                        Some questions:
You proclaim yourself an atheist (no God), agnostic (no idea) and then in the quoted post you deal with God as an actual being (that He is) albeit accusing Him for being a hypocrite. What is this all about? This seems to me that you DO believe after all.
You seem to be an example of total subjectivity of ethics? Is human life really all about personal opinions? Or, more specifically, all about YOU? What about the pathologically depressed who says he wants to die? Let him? Is it that simple? Of course, I can regocnize the charming youthful egotism that is characteristic of puberty but please reconsider.

You see, society functions with ethical rules that quite a few people agree on. Regarding life and death, sex and education. Even atheist societies have rules albeit ungodly and thus leading to damnation.

Still, welcome! It is good for young ignoramuses (or shall we say ignorami with the latin plural) to try to learn. Young age is a disorder that will get better every day, so rest assured!

                        1 Timothy 4:12
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Above are some remedies you might want to experiment with.

                        Yours in Christ,

Welcome. I personally disagree with you, instead of being an agnostic/atheist, you believe their is a God, and you are angry with Him. Thus, you can't be agnostic or atheist. I pray that you will find the Lord. After all, Hell is not fun, pleasant, or pretty being raped, whipped, and worst of all, separated from our dear Lord and Creator!

I think you can see where I stopped reading. Often people play the game "run-off-with-my-next-door-neighbour" or "-her-wife" and although it revolts me to ..I have forgotten what came next but why would anyone be a deist? God exists: that's why we believe in Him. Gods who do not exist do not merit anything, certainly not belief and sure enough they are all extinct. Well allah seems to be persisting as a sort of rump deity despite everywhere that worships the creep instantly becoming a 3rd World basket case. Much like those hindoo demoniacs—they're all worshipping the same demon after all—but at least Indians are able to shrug off the traces and get a modicum of prosperity.

Really, the best thing would be for an airlift of Bibles into both India and the Near East.
.My contact with Chicago suggests that it's a hotbed of atheism.
