        Valentine's Day is the worst holiday ever invented by humans. It's about nothing but sex.

        Think of it. A holiday celebrating sin.

        The day will come when whoever invented Valentine's Day will be held accountable. It can't come too soon for me.

                            I would like to subscrbe to sister Naomi Ruth Lamb way of sending valentine card by qouting scriptural passages thus spreading the gospel,even though some still have poluted minds which is not suprising, God be praise for us in Nigeria this year we will be casting our votes to elect new leaders on valentines day, but i believe that God is love and we can show love not only to the needy amist us but to the unsaved too not forgetting that it was while we were yet sinner that Christ died for us. It's well.
                            (Hebrews 6:1) Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God.

                                    Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

Although, I am confused why, after reading why sending out a Valentine's Day card is like asking to get raped, you would then proceed to gleefully express how much you look forward to sending out Valentine's Day cards. Is it really so hard in Africa to get a man to pay attention to you? Are you terribly ugly or hunched backed or wall-eyed or something? I always thought the men in Africa had to hold themselves back. The idea that a woman was completely ignored is surprising to me.

                                        But olaniyi, you don't have to spread your legs for anyone bipedal animal that comes along out there. You can read the Holy Bible and learn to believe what you read, trust Jesus to know what's best for you, confess your sins, accept Him as your master, and then Be Healed! Wouldn't that be much nicer than to be a walking vending machine of herpes and AIDS?

                                            How a girl "asks" to get raped? After all, rape is forced sex, it has nothing to do with pleasing a woman, let alone love, is about control and power over the person you're with. I think we should teach boys to respect women since they're little, because no woman, EVER, asks to be abused, men can and must control themselves, because everybody has sexual desires sometime in their lives, but they must control them before commiting a serious crime


                                            Also, you must know that rape victims end really bad, the ones who are not killed right after being raped, feel dirty, horrible, worthless, they even consider killing themselves, not to mention the trauma their families have after that experience, I think you, as Christians, should feel more compassion towards people who suffer in the world, and rape victims suffer a lot
