Let me teach you guys about Burden of Proof. It is simply the one who make the wildest claims who has the burden of proof.

If I state "I was abducted by Aliens yesterday", I would have to show you proof of my claim. However, if I say "I was NOT abducted by Aliens yesterday", does any one of you need proof?

Religious people often say "you can´t prove God does not exist". Well, I don´t have to. Claiming that an omnipotent deity created the heavens and the earth in one week has been disproven over and over. I believe in what I can see, hear and sense and otherwise back up with scientifically proven facts. Like the atom.

Now, take a look at my attached image, which is pretty much how the argument goes around here. You use the Bible as a proof of itself, so-called circular logic. It is very simple, the Bible was written by humans. It´s just as infallible as JRR Tolkiens Lords of the Rings, just older.

Something is currently unexplained or insufficiently understood or explained, so it is not (or must not be) true.

Because there appears to be a lack of evidence for one hypothesis, another chosen hypothesis is therefore considered proven.

Scientists have massive amounts of data concerning evolution, structure of the universe and the atomic model. You are allowed to disagree, but you must then give proof on why it is false. And no, the Bible is not proof.

We do have a pretty good grasp on how the universe is built up. From suns and their solar systems to galaxies. No one has "gone out and measured" but we can observe through telescope. We can also measure the amount of radiation (visible light) coming from distant stars.

The atomic model has been used to create the computer you are using. That computer is a result of modern science. And yes, we can actually see atoms through special electron microscopes.

If there are tons of EVIDENCE of God´s existence, please bring them forth. Scripture does not count. Remember, circular logic.

How does wikipedia prove anything? Are you aware that anyone can put anything they like on wikipedia? Information in there is extremely unreliable.

Why not use the KJV1611 Holy Bible instead? That has been a stable and reliable source of information for centuries.

Yes, anyone can put anything on wiki, which is why you go to the bottom and read the references. Many sources point to university papers done by professors and are reliable sources.

THE BIBLE ISNT THE TRUTH OF ALL THINGS .

i could go and write a bunch of stories and talk about god and how great he is and how much he hates this and that and loves that and this.

and then say that god came to me and told me to write that down because the old and new testament were a lie and not gods word.
