Think about it. If the Bible, which was written thousands of years ago, described the interior of the earth as being hot, fiery, with a molten lake....how could it not be of divine origin? There was no way human beings knew anything about the interior of the earth, yet here is this ancient text which describes the very core of the earth! This is proof positive that the Bible is written by God.

Here is a debate on faith and truth. Truth is what has been proven to be correct by various means and methods while faith deems truth without proof. This is purely by definition of the word faith. I make a statement and ask you to believe without proof, if you do it is by faith that you believe me to be speaking the truth.

Accepting truth by faith based on who speaks is hypocrisy. I do not believe your words to be true because you do not provide proof. I will not believe that you are speaking in the Lords name on faith alone.

John 4:2 informs us that Jesus did not baptize, the disciples did. 1st Corinthians 1:17 clearly teaches that Paul did NOT come to baptize anybody, but he did come to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm now going to share with you a few teachings from the "Small Catechism of Martin Luther" featured on many Lutheran church websites. Of course, these writings are authored by Martin Luther himself. I had always heard that Martin Luther became a believer after reading that "the just shall live by faith;" however, I simply have to question the genuine salvation of any man who believed and taught baptismal regeneration.
