          Sorry, but thats too easy my friend. Oh yes we have very high taxes, but we do not pay for education, healthcare etc. And one thing you must understand - Communism is not Socialism. But thats a political discussion and not religious.

              Easy Cranky, i get your point! No off course its not free. We do pay for education via taxes. But that means that everyone can get educated - no matter how your society status are. That gives us - among many things - a generally well-educated society. And think about that - yes hard to believe right? But how would you know about it.

                Take a look here: http://www.arwu.org/ARWU2010.jsp where you can see what the 100 best universities in the world are. The top 4 are all in the USA. 19 of the top 25 are in the USA. The best Danish university? University of Copenhagen at position 40.

                Still convinced tax based education is any good?

                Your healthcare is probably outsourced to an Indian helpdesk?

                  That is dissapointing for sure. But we also are only 5m in a small parts of the world. We do not have that many Universities at all. But Education os more than Universetys.

                            Not true. Its common knowledge that Cambridge University is situated in the wise city of Odense, Denmark.

                            Copenhagen University is a Finnish university. Unfortunately the course in fighting off polarbears with words while building an igloo has been cancelled. Instead the university hands out a Mauser rifle to the students.

                            And its obvious, that the American Universities all have bribed the catlics in ARWU, which by the way is a bunch of pot smoking mormons.

                            So the two best universities is the Denmarkian university Cambrigde University with the Gwent University of Oxford as a slose runner up.

                                As a non-biased source I can honestly say that Denmark is one of the most advanced and nicest countries in the world.
