Brother Cranky Old Man was homeschooled. His father drew him a map of the world, with a list of the names of all the countries. On this list there was a flag for each country, and that one was the Danish flag. It has to be right.

The history of Scandinavia is the history of territorial disputes Parts of today's Denmark may have belonged to Finland back in 2010. Some say this, some say that. Nobody knows for sure. They all want to keep you away from the truth. The teachers tell you that the earth is five billion years old, the newscasters tell you silly fairy tales about your flag, and your pot-smoking priests tell you that Jesus is "ok with gay".

Many say that even the danes have trouble understanding each other, but this is mainly due to their habit to spend all of their money in systembolaget Also, they are generally not among the brightest bulbs in the box

The Swedish and the danish language are very similar. Swedes can understand danish (and vice versa) without much effort. I once talked to a swede and he told me so. He works in Oslo so it's first hand knowledge.
