The only time abortion is wrong is when you use it as a contraceptive.

So, are you saying that women should not have the right to abortions if they simply don't want the child? Because, if I understand its purpose correctly, that is the reason people use contraceptives. The end result of an abortion is the same regardless of the motivation of the person requesting it.

Some people-- who call themselves Christians-- will say that an abortion can be permitted in cases of rape or incest. This seems to preclude the understanding that God is all-powerful and all-knowing as well as smarter than the rest of us.

If God didn't want a baby to be born after a rape, He could have A) prevented the rape, or B ) prevented the conception. He knew before any of us were born that the woman would be ovulating at the exact right time to become pregnant as a result of the rape, yet He did nothing to stop it, and it's not like He didn't have plenty of time, having foreseen it thousands of years ago.

Given what a miracle it is that the woman was releasing an egg just around the time that the man surprised her with his penis, it seems particularly wrong for anyone to swoop in and destroy that which God allowed to be created for His own reasons and designs.

People who claim to be Christian but who would accept abortion in cases of rape do not really want to obey God and the sanctity of life. They just want to be the one making the decisions about who is allowed to have an abortion.

Deathpenalty is murder!! What if the person is innocent? Ever thought about that? And if you kill a murder doesn't that also make you a murder?

And also I wanna have the right to decide what to do with my own body it's my issue and well you maybe don't like it but like I care. My body my choice!!

And it should be called pro-choice not pro-abortion. By the way pro-life should be called anti-choice. The only time abortion is wrong is when you use it as a contraceptive.
So look in your own reflections before you judge others!!

I for one have never killed a human in my life. Also, it seems that you are putting conditions on what a woman can do with her own body. So are you pro-choice, regardless of circumstances or are you pro-choice conditionally based on what YOU deem is ok?

At least we have a firm stance as to abortion. You however are deeming that it is only the individuals choice if it is passed by lindaekstrand first.

Well maybe we have a different view of what evil is? To me evil is killing someone no matter what (never done that), rape someone (never done that either), being mean (well I've say things without thinking sometimes)

Yeah, and during WW2 the Soviet Union killed at leat 8 million people, the Nazis did that too. USA killed prisoners of war without a trial, Japan made a horrible and unjustified attack on USA (Pearl Harbor) And the fact that Sweden smuggled goods to Nazi Germany are wrong. Would like some proof of that please.

Anyhow, all this was 60 years ago, people were different back then and people now should not be blamed for what their grandparents did.

You bring out an excellent point, but if we look at it from different point of views. Abortion is murder, no doubt but what is worst. Abortion or a lifetime of pain. What if the woman either can't take care of the child nor afford supporting it. It is indeed a tricky question.
