Yes, we are a God-fearing congregation.

Leviticus 25:17 Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God:for I am the LORD your God.

Deuteronomy 10:20 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.

(Deuteronomy is filled with similar quotes, I could go on with them for a while.)

1 Samuel 12:14 If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God:

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

I really can go on, but it's commanded we fear God, and why shouldn't we? Our eternal souls are in His hands. But we love Him too. Don't forget that. And it's not a fear like that of, say, a fear of witches who will try to hex you and eat your babies. No, this fear is a reverence. An acknowledgement of His awesome power and presence.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

There's a difference between fearing God and being fearful. A True Christian(tm) isn't a coward, and that's who will be cast into the Lake.

God is merciful. He wouldn't command anyone to fear Him then cast them into the Lake of Fire for following His command.

Maybe we should share some information about the mission, so the Australians can be prpared beforehand. Is there an itenerary planned? Are there meetings at other churches scheduled? This information is going to be very critical during the planning stages of this expedition. I think that it is imperative that we have organized at least the beginning part of the mission, and the townships that missionaries will stop at.

I talked to Abner briefly, but we didn't get any planning done, as he was quick to depart. He was very determined to be the first out of the parking lot. He said something about being the first to the planning meeting for the Australian mission, but that wasn't until 6 pm. I'm sure he had a fair amount to do to be prepared for the meeting.

I think he had the plans with him, but he didn't leave them for me. Maybe I can get him to fax them to me tomorrow.

Those two places will have to be the first plan of attack. satan and all his vial scum are there. Will have it all documented for the missionaries when they arrive.
