Friend, i am of a generation who was taught latin and greek. Most often do I read the new testament in greek - there can be no ambiguity when you are reading the very words that were written. Unfortunately i speak no hebrew, so i use the 1611 for the old testament, and it is a beautiful book.

Here is the passage from the 1611

43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

The message is still the same, as it is in greek, as it is in latin. Christ came to complete the message of the old testament, only through submission to his will can we hope to reach heaven

Scottish Champ’s cyber-sex with boys

A SHAMED weightlifting champion yesterday admitted tricking youths into taking part in internet "cyber-sex" sessions.

Alan Ogilvie, 41, posted steamy footage of teenage girls which boys thought came from live webcams they could interact with.

The serial offender then recorded the young men performing sex acts.

Hello there. If I could interject for a second? I’d just like to ask a few questions – and feel free to reject me on the grounds of your uninformed bigotry, as you’ve done so many others. It seems à la mode, so who am I to break a trend?

1)Have any of you who claim that Scotland is a nation of drunkards and “Sheep fornicators” ever been to Scotland, or are you basing your opinions – and I hesitate to call them that – on what you’ve seen in movies?
2)Are you aware that while Scotland did invent the deep-fried Mars bar, your wondrous land invented the A-bomb, H-bomb, the Jerry Springer Show, and a myriad of fast-food conglomerates, most of which are taking it upon themselves to destroy the world for future generations?
3)Do you understand that the “sheep fornicating” stereotype is used worldwide almost exclusively for the Welsh? They’re the ones on the bottom left of England. If so, does the knowledge that Scotland does not take part in this raise us any in your estimations?
4)Does your church also hate shrimp? Deuteronomy 14:9-10 says:
9 These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:

5)Does your church hate any of these things:

Your body is not your own, and you must do everything in your power to take care of the perfect form which God has given you. As most Scotch people are ugly fat drunk stinky vagrant people with rotten black teeth, I hardly think God would be much impressed.
