Handy Tips for True Christian Wives

Always squeeze fresh orange juice for your new hubby (only whores use frozen concentrate).

Before your hubby gets home from a hard days work check yourself in the mirror and make sure your makeup is fresh and you look as pretty as you did when you were courting. Now that you've bagged him does not give you the right to let your self go and into a sloppy sow.

When he slaps you or corrects you in any way do not make a sound and thank him for it.

Always give him the biggest and best of the portions of food you are preparing.

Always remember that your wants and desires will always come last. JESUS and your Hubby are your Universe and you are just in it's orbit.

    May Jesus bless you Sister!

Mrs. Porter made a snotty remark about my waistline a few years ago so I printed this picture and taped to the refrigerator. Now every time she hints that I should have a grapefruit for breakfast, all I have to do is point to the photo and the bacon and eggs are ready in record time.

    In Christ!

Re: Handy Tips for True Christian Wives

This is the list that I have written on a poster board on my bedroom wall. I make sure to read it out loud every night before I go to bed, I want to be the perfect wife when I get married

      • Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal ready on time for his return. This is a way of letting him know that you have be thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they come home and the prospect of a good meal (especially his favorite dish) is part of the warm welcome needed.
      • Prepare yourself. Take 15 minutes to rest so you’ll be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh-looking. He has just been with a lot of work-weary people.
      • Be a little happy and a little more interesting for him. His boring day may need a lift and one of your duties is to provide it.
      • Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives. Run a dustcloth over the tables.
      • Over the cooler months of the year you should prepare and light a fire for him to unwind by. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift too. After all, catering for his comfort will provide you with immense personal satisfaction.
      • Minimize all noise. At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of the washer, dryer or vacuum. Encourage the children to be quiet.
      • Be happy to see him.
      • Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please him.
      • Listen to him. You may have a dozen important things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first - remember, his topics of conversation are more important than yours.
      • Make the evening his. Never complain if he comes home late or goes out to dinner or other places of entertainment without you. Instead, try to understand his world of strain and pressure and his very real need to be at home and relax.
      • Your goal: To try and make sure your home is a place of peace, order, and tranquility where your husband can renew himself in body and spirit.
      • Don’t greet him with complaints and problems.
      • Make him comfortable. Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or have him lie down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him.
      • Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soothing and pleasant voice.
      • Don’t ask him questions about his actions or question his judgment or integrity. Remember, he is the master of the house and as such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. You have no right to question him.
      • A good wife always knows her place.

        Thank you all.

As you know I am about to marry Disciple Luke in 16 days.

I was going to sign up at this website.

But it appears it is not yet operational.

        2 Chronicles 7:14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land Australia.

If a man hits a woman, then she surely deserves it or did something to get beaten!

Are we allowed to wear makeup. My husband says that I can't. I would like to wear very light makeup, how can I ask him permission to let me wear some lipgloss and blush without being disobedient. I don't want to question my man, but I would like an opinion.

If he says no makeup, then it's no makeup. You could ask if tinted lip balm would be okay. It's not really makeup, but I would clear that with him first. Pinch your cheeks for a rosy glow.

He said lip balm is fine! And he said I can wear a tiny bit of blush. Thanks!

Very true...we have to remember that our Men know best and it's his job to keep us in our place just like it's our job to understand and respect his decisions.

It was probably a backhander, in which case the right hand would be applied. This is the proper learnin' tool in most reputable States.
