I totally agree with you. it is the natural order of marriage to have our beloved husbands as domintant, and the exercise of their autority through discipline really fosters our submission. The moderate disobedicence, unfortunately, come sour spontaneously from our sinful nature, this is why God entitled our husband to discipline us.

dear mrs Good Christian woman, i would like to share with you this story that happened to me. A married couple of atheists came to live next door. The wife continuosly shouted, she commanded her husband to do shopping and to care the garden and talked back to him also in public. He also was not at all a christian man. Their noisy arguments were able to start suddendly in the night and last for hours.

I was so sick for them! i asked my husband's permission to pray the Lord for them. i did it every day for more than one year, and at a certain point the Lord, in His infinite mercy, accepted my prayers.

they starded attending our church's Sunday service. Arguments stopped and the lady left her job to take care of her husband and her house. He also had changed: he was a godly dominant husband. our Pastor was astonished and so happy!

two months ago i saw some bruises on her legs. She proudly admitted that she had gracefully submitted to her husband, and that he had started disciplining her firmly, according to our pastor's advice, to erase the bad habits aand attitudes of the past. Now they seem so happy and so much in love!!!!

IBesides this I find that if you have a set ''discipline time'' right after dinner your food is on the table a little faster and I never have to ask for my ice filled up! Yep I never mention her mistakes of the day until after I have had my supper.

It so true, sir! I myself, after being firmly disciplined by my beloved husbad, feel a strong urge to please and serve him, and a deep desire to be the wife of his dreams!

for the police: my husband is a lawyer and we signed an agreement just before marriage, that we mutually agree it was his right do discipline me for whatever reason he deemed as necessary, and the way he considered most appropriate.

i realize this may seem like a controversial, even perhaps a "progressive" idea to some, but moderate disobedience of a Christian woman towards her husband gives a man the opportunity to exercise the full scope of his disciplinary authority, and gives him cause to prove his manly dominance over her in ways that would otherwise remain dormant in the man/wife relationship.

Why is your husband using his fist instead of a rod, as directed in the Bible?

A rod to the buttocks will not leave marks where they can be seen by anyone but your husband. And you'll be reminded of your improper behavior every time you choose to sit down for days, instead of just when you look at yourself in a mirror!

also my husband follows the same direction with the rod, except if he needs urgently to discipline me when we are outdoors. In those cases, the only option available is his belt. God bless him!

I pray constantly for a Godly husband who would love me enough to discipline me, but alas, my poor dear deluded atheist husband refuses. It makes me so sad, but I do have eternal hope in Christ Jesus that he will see the folly of his ways and come to the LORD as I have come to the LORD. In the meantime, I leave around little "hints" printed in his lunch box, underwear drawer, my bra. I hope the Holy Spirit leads him quickly but in the meantime, I'm happy to share what I can with you in case your husband chooses to alter his disciplinary habits.

Sounds like it's time to talk to your pastor. You can always take them to the church for their beatings so the neighbors won't hear!

You'd be amazed what can be achieved inside a pipe organ. The older ones are best they have interesting Industrial Revolution brackets, quite ornate some of them considering that they'd never be seen. Well the organ tuner would see them, and the organist of course but would you accompany a church organist into the bowels of his instrumant? Yes, so would I - and with a few tweaks here and there you'd be surprised at the sounds obtainable even from a low powered instrument this is one of the earlier forms of music therapy. Very effective. I can recommend it.

Until I can prove my full devotion and Love for Jesus, I cannot start my own threads, but this topic seems like the perfect place to finally ask a question without going off topic.

I still have to give my daughters countless beatings, weather it be for disobeying me, not completing their daily chores to my standards or for failing to answer questions correctly after bible Study.

Unfortunately, many of my neighbors are ungodly. If they see so much as see a per-teen girl with a black eye or bruises on her arm, they'd go cry to the Child Protection people who too do not fallow Christian Values.

I even had the Police show up at my door once even when my daughters had not left the house. Someone called and complained that they heard screaming coming from within my home.

The only place I could them without fear is Church. There, other Christians like me can see I am doing my best as a father in trying to prevent my girls from ending up in hell.

Since I am unable to hide not only bruises from my nosy neighbors, but cries and screams as well, what would be the best course of action? I could keep them confined to the house and the back yard (which is concealed with a tall wooden fence) But that would leave no one to cut the front grass, take out the garbage and so fourth.

Sounds like it's time to talk to your pastor. You can always take them to the church for their beatings so the neighbors won't hear!

How so? I am 42 years old. The avatar is not of me either. It is my eldest daughter. I am sorry she looked 'drugged' do you. She had just had a long and intense lesson Christian Values. She was extremely tired yet still managed to lift her head and gaze up towards heaven as if she had realized her sins and was looking up to Jesus for forgiveness. I thought the picture was rather symbolic.
