In case you have missed something I now live in Freehold. How many people live in Freehold, and how many belong to Landover Baptist Church?

My estimation would be 40% of the people of Freehold attending the LBC.

No one is stopping Sariel the Slut from speaking, she may say what ever she likes, just not here. What don't you understand about the term Privately owned?

This is the official debate center for the elections. Censorship is clearly illegal here. Luckily, mr. King is married to a lawyer. I've asked Mrs. King about this, and she agrees with me that this is unheard of.

Cassie....my friend at the Freehold National Bank says Candidate Hold has cosigned on many residents' loans since the campaign began...AND that his credit rating gets them lower interest rates!

They even have a life-size cardboard cut out of him in the lobby, with the banner "I can help!"

Is this illegal??? It certainly seems ODD....and worth looking into.

Wow, it's good you said this, Beaux! I'll ask mrs. King right away, she knows everything about legal matters. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if this is yet another corrupt act my Hold to win voters, now that the poll results predict a resounding victory for mr. King.

Of course, this is rather hypocritical of Hold, to say the least, seeing that he wants to completely abolish the charging of interest by banks, in contrast with his followers. I've just made a short summary of some points where Hold disagrees with his own followers.

Miss Casandra and Mr. McManus--Please excuse me for stepping into your animated conversation, but I must clearify some things. The world of banking and finance are complex and I have been remiss in not providing explanations for the matters you raise.

This matter of usury which is condemed in the Bible has some theological misunderstanding associated with it. I have been visiting with our Pastors about the possibility that they may no longer adocate nor use the term "interest". Instead, they may agree to substitute the phrase, "fee for use of money". There is no Biblical prohibition against fees.

I have been in negotiations with Freehold National Bank for some time now. These visits are in regard to shifting Freehold City funds, should I be elected, from another bank with which I happen to have philisophical differences. This is all on the very up and up.

On the matter of mortages, yes I have helped many friends receive favorable rates at Freehold National. This is part of my effort to make the motto for Freehold, Growing by Godly.

On the cut out of me in the Bank lobby, that solves a mystery. I've looking for it for several days. Normally, I carry the cut out to campaign events. That way, if the line of people who want to have their pictures taken with me is too long, people can use the cut out. I now recall that there was an event at the Bank and I must have forgotten to take it with me. How embarassing! Thank you for finding it.

So renaming something without changing the meaning is going to solve your problem? Wouldn't your Jesus guy consider it an insult that you think you can fool him so easily?

You're welcome. I understand a life-sized cardboard cut-out easily gets lost in the hassle. This is possibly why there are cardboard cut-outs of you standing at the city hall, the church, several other sanctuaries, the police station, the courthouse, the hospital, the university, several primary and secondary schools, the Bible College and several shopping malls as well. Just thought you might want to know.

There is no censorship going on, but disruptive behavior that interferes with the free election of the Mayor will not be permitted. Such behavior is not compatible with the democratic principles. No one will be banned for politely asking tough questions of Mr. Hold, such as how does he envision strengthening the TrueChristian™ nature of Freehold, or how will he handle the disruptive non--American element. However, impolite questions about campaign finance irregularities SHOULD be banned.
