Re: Statement from Miss Cassandra: Landover's attempt to silence
So what's with the black fist in your "Power to the Peaceful" slogan?
Does that mean peace as long as we bow down to King? What exactly is the symbolism behind that?

Re: Statement from Miss Cassandra: Landover's attempt to silence
Mr McManus when I posted a news paper article that was published in Des Monies you screamed it was a lie and a fabrication. Yet you have NOT disproved any of the contents .
Mr King when I posted a newspaper article that was published in Des Monies you responded in the same manner as Mr McManus. And you have provided zero evidence to say otherwise.
Now when I posted the news paper article from Des Monies that showed you were in the lead, it was a different story. No claims of lies or a fabricated story. You got all puffy chested and already wrapped up the election
The Good and Right Pastor Ezekiel posts information from a well known TV Journalist, and you scream LIES and Fabrication..Do you some how think that Glenn Beck has nothing better to do that create a false news story?
Yes I filed a complaint with the FPD on Miss Cassandra, and it seems that the police had enough information to act upon. A up standing Judge issued the search and arrest warrant.
And lastly you Mr McManus attack my wife. Her name is Susan and no she is not a boozer.
I will no longer stand for this treatment, as I post this comment my dear sweet wife is in her bed room crying her eyes out. How will she be able to face her friends.
Mr McManus I expect a public apology for besmirching my Family Name.

Re: Statement from Miss Cassandra: Landover's attempt to silence
Thanks for the heads up! I've made it to a safe house outside Freehold and will be on the move until the election is over.Originally posted by Miss Cassandra View PostAdditionally, they....tried to get me to say incriminating things about Beaux McManus as well. Also, they kept trying to make me give away information about the identity of my coven members, as well as of the Free Women For Freehold organization.
As I see it, if King wins, we'll be safe. If Hold (shudder) wins, they'll lose interest in us, as they'll have achieved their twisted goal.
It makes me sick [wait...theres a sound outside...]
It's okay...
It makes me sick that people like Mr. DeWitt (who's probably related to that alcoholic addict Joyce DeWitt) can move here from high-and-mighty New York and then within a matter of months take it upon themselves to start dictating to those of us who GREW UP HERE (like you and me) how our town will be run!
The same goes for Mr. Johny Joe Hold, aka Johny-Come-Lately Joe Hold.
I'll write more later, but my heart is breaking over your cruel treatment. A day will come when everyone will know the truth about your plight!
More later......this isn't over. Not by a long shot.

Statement from Miss Cassandra: Landover's attempt to silence me!
Hello everyone,
As you all probably know by now, I’ve been imprisoned by the FPD, and currently am in the Municipal Prison. I hope I can explain a little bit of the real story with this post, as I’ve seen that many “true christians,” as well known as "intolerant, corrupt, bigoted jerks," have been spreading false rumours about me. In particular that despicable NewYorker, Jimmy DeWitt, has been very creative in thinking up new false allegations, after his first one was taken seriously by the police.
Anyway, I was tomorrow morning at mrs. Johnson’s home, where I lived the last couple of weeks, as many of you will have guessed by now. We expected to get a lot of women visiting today, and were just discussing several matters related to this issue, when suddenly something was thrown through a window in the living room. Before we could get a good look at the object, it belched out a thick smoke, so that it was obscured from view. A second object was thrown into the living room from another window, another smoke bomb.
Luckily, mrs. Johnson and I got to the hall before the entire living room was engulfed in smoke, but as we reached for the door, it came crashing down violently, straight on top of mrs. Johnson's head, and she was knocked out. Two men, clad in black clothes and fully armed, were standing in the doorway, and before I could do anything, they took hold of me and threw me on the ground. They kicked me several times, and then pulled a sack over my head. Totally disoriented, I was dragged over the front drive, and thrown into the back of a police van. Luckily, they removed the sack from my head again, and I got a glimpse of several shocked looking onlookers, as well as a very smug-looking neighbour of mrs. Johnson. I later heard that a large part of the antique furniture of mrs. Johnson, which already suffered considerable damage during the raid by the FFD during the barbecue last week, was irreparably damaged by the FPD action.
At the police station, I was exhaustively questioned. They kept on babbling about “serious drugs-related charges,” “evidence for ties to Al-Qaeda and other islamofascist movements,” “unidentified green plants and plant-like material in sacks,” “ties to radical feminist movements,” “ties to ecofascist movements,” “evidence for satan worship,” “psychopathic music,” “a torn-apart picture of former President Bush,” “offensive material on my PC,” and so on.
Additionally, they wanted to know everything about both mr. King and mr. Weed, and seemingly tried to get me to say incriminating things about Beaux McManus as well. Also, they kept trying to make me give away information about the identity of my coven members, as well as of the Free Women For Freehold organization.
Of course, I hadn’t the faintest idea what they were talking about, but I was still disoriented, so I didn’t answer their questions when they pertained to any of my friends, as I feared, quite correctly I think, that we all might be in danger, perhaps even in mortal danger. When they were finished with me, they put me in one of the isolated cells. I have seen only mrs. Johnson and mrs. King so far, who will be my defense attorney in an eventual court case. They told me what the charges against me were. Mrs. King added that she first thought it was some kind of joke, seeing how ridiculous the accusations of the police were, but here in Freehold, unsubstantiated complaints are taken very seriously when filed by the right persons, or against the right persons.
So it seems that they are trying to get me convicted for drug possession and trafficking. Of course, I never even touched any forbidden substance, and mrs. King, who, as my defense attorney, was allowed to take a short look at the “evidence,” said it were plants of at least three different species, one of them being Cleome, another False Aralia. She further said it was very unlikely that they came from one and the same place. The sacks of “suspicious dried plant material” turned out to be the contents of Lucky Strike cigarettes, the work was done so sloppy that mrs. Johnson clearly saw the remains of the filter of one of the cigarettes. She photographed this to be sure.
Most other charges weren’t even punishable by law, and the ones that were lacked even made-up evidence, so the exhaustive questioning on this part further reinforces the fact that it was a set-up by the alliance of church officials, Ladies of Landover and the council members who support Hold, in addition to several residents of Freehold, like DeWitt and that mad old savage mrs. Johnson has the displeasure to have as a neighbour.
They furthermore kept reminding me that I was lucky that Don Richards found me instead of Bobby-Joe and the “boys,” clearly suggesting that I would have lived to tell the tale in that case. It took another hour of negotiation by mrs. King to get them to grant me a computer with access to the Internet, but she got her way in the end, so that I could post this.
My personal conviction is that this was an attempt to silence me, because I already:
- gave mr. King inside information about Project Habakkuk
- posted my coven member’s witness account of suspicious behaviour of several supporters of Hold prior to the tire-slashing incident
- pointed out that mr. Hold follows a very different line of thinking than his followers seem to realize, at least when it comes to religious issues.
- called the women of Freehold up to vote for mr. King Wednesday (this, I think, is the direct cause)
- kept persistently supporting mr. King on these forums
I don’t think I will remain in jail at the end of this story, but the intention seems to be to keep me away from my friends until after the elections. However, this will not help them in any way! This is because:
- many residents of Freehold do not believe the bogus stories of Jimmy DeWitt in particular, and became convinced that there is indeed a corrupt plot by Hold and the LBC to make him win the elections
- I was hardly a leading member of the Free Women For Freehold, so our plans there will not be hindered in any way.
- This has attracted quite a lot of attention of officials form the State of Freehold, who already were closely following the developments in Freehold. Corrupting the democratic process will be even harder now.
Therefore, I want to call up every person who cares about liberty, freedom, justice and democracy to do whatever they can to thwart the plans of Hold and his cronies! Inform the Internets, the media, your freinds and family and anyone you happen to meet about this injustice, this unlawful act by the FPD, who are supposed to hold up the law instead of perverting it. And residents of Freehold, VOTE!
I want to thank all people who have been supporting me through this ordeal. I can’t express in words how much it means to me to feel your support. On this forum, I want to thank in particular Alfred King, Beaux McManus and Ayla, who have been supporting me.
From the Municipal Prison,
Cassandra
