Belgian cripple enabler becomes a "saint"

Apparently, going against God's will and helping lepers can earn you the status of "saint" in the cathlyck church. Alledgedly, this will happen next Sunday to "Father Damien", also known as Blessed Damien of Molokai.



I even doubt he had a green card for Hawaii, so first of all he was an illegal alien! Next, he kept himself busy puzzling with bits and pieces that fell off lepers. Why that's so special to the papists, only, um, God knows.

He once said:

“...I make myself a leper with the lepers to gain all to Jesus Christ.”

Sure pal, that makes sense!

To make things worse, his way of treating these doomed people now stands as an "example" on how to treat the AIDS.

Oh, and Obama Hussein, or "Barry", has called him a great inspiration. What a surprise.

As this non-person was born a few miles from my Outreach Post(TM), I'm going to rally against the gathering next Sunday, asking the attendants why HE HIMSELF died of leprosy when his treatment was so "good".

Please pray for me Brothers and Sisters, as I have the feeling I will not be welcomed there, oddly enough.

It is men like Father Damien who have made the Holy Roman Church what it is today... a single shining beacon of goodness, selflessness and charity that has since the dawn of Christianity lit the one path to salvation that Jesus gave us in word and deed.

So profound was his goodness that his acts of kindness and understanding were the very inspiration for Mahatma Gandhi to lead, by peaceful means, his people from the shackles of British (Anglican) oppression and into the 21st Century... India even has a Catholic leader now in Sonia Gandhi and more Christians than Belgium and Ireland combined!

This is an amazing example of the ripple effects from such Godly deeds and how could he not be a perfect candidate for Sainthood?

You do know that Ireland and Belgium combined is not even one sixth of the population of India, right? Looks like Sonia Gandhi still has some work to do - and with Christians, I assume you mean Catholic's. Don't be confusing the two now - I know they both start with C, but that is about where the similarities end as well!

But he didn't inspire Mahatmacoat Gandhidancer to renounce hindalooism, and that shows you how much saving power the "witness" of the Roman institution has. As for what Diaper Dude did for India, all of the good works in the world will not save you unless you have Jesus.

Just because Jesus healed a few lepers, it doesn't follow that He wants us to be hugging them. The Bible clearly tells us that God hands out these afflictions (presumably for His loving reasons).

When really bad things happen (like you get eaten by wild beasts, get killed in war, get sick and die, etc.), then you'll know that it was God that did it to you.
