While I would love to say that stories like this surprise me, I'm afraid that would be a lie, and I know lying is a sin.

A Greenfield woman accused of stabbing her husband to death allegedly did so after the two argued about tacos, prosecutors said.

Prosecutors said Emma Jaime dumped soda on her husband's tacos and then ran upstairs.

When Emma Jaime came down the stairs, she found Ramone Jaime washing dishes, and that is when she stabbed him, prosecutors said.

This is why we need to militarize the Mexican border. For now, it's Mexicans killing Mexicans. But with their cuisine spreading like a refried plague across the southwest, how long before taco-related American on American violence becomes a reality?

We must stand strong against the spicey menace that is Mexican food related crime!

I stopped having taco night at my place in September 1974 after an unfortunate incident with a knife and some salsa and another man's wife. I wasn't sleeping with her, but boy, was she ever pretty. I can see why that beaner she dragged around with her was so possessive.

It is the spiciness of their food that drives the Mexican wild with blood lust. You combine salsa and with a hard shell food like a taco you are just asking for trouble. It is well know tacos were devolved by the Aztecs to eat the flesh of their victims they sacrificed to their pagan gods.

Mexican food is po' folks food -- always has been, always will be. And historically speaking, po' folks food has never gained wide acceptance on the American plate or palate. Just think of chitlins and gravy (i.e., shitlins) -- that abomination that po' folk delicacy has been around forever, and yet, can you buy it at your local mall's food court? Of course not -- It makes people vomit. It's the same way with tacos and all of the other indistinguishable variations on tomatoes-onions-beans-cilantro-hamburger/chicken/pork that the Mexicans are known for.

A man was shot and killed at a taco truck in Oakland's Fruitvale district, police said today.

Wayl Aljunaidi, 23, of Oakland was found lying in a driveway next to a taco truck at 3326 Foothill Blvd. at 10:45 p.m. Thursday, said Officer Jeff Thomason, a police spokesman.

Aljunaidi was pronounced dead at Highland Hospital. No arrests have been made in the slaying.

Judging by the victims last name, I would guess he was not American, but I don't think it's a Mexican name either. It looks like the taco menace has spread to other foreigners as well.

I can only hope that the negros don't develop a taste for south of the border fare. A negro buck hopped up on jalapeños would be almost unstoppable!

A people's cooking -- at least in your self-righteous little pea-brain -- must only arise from the dirt beneath the people's feet, and if it doesn't, then the cooking and the food is not authentically a reflection of the people's tastes, culture and history!?!

I should ban you for your arrogance, but instead I'll ask you some questions:

*Is marinara sauce not authentically Italian because tomatoes come from the Americas?

*Is an Indian curry that includes potatoes not authentically Indian because potatoes come from the Americas? (I detect a pattern!)

*Are Norwegian desserts not authentically Norwegian because they include cardamon (green, not black) from South Asia?

*I don't know what you must think of the Dutch who's entire national identity is embodied in their consumption of Indonesian food.

Jumbo is a traditional Cajun dish, you might even call it black fare. Same with collard greens and okra. Beef stew and lamb burgers and leg of lamb come from hoven animals, and you can't eat the flesh of hoven animals. Burgers have the extra "sin" of being European. I could punch holes in the rest of this, but I'm going to go make a German chocolate cake now because I've been craving one all day.

This problem is bigger than I thought. Taco-related violence seems to be the newest immigrant-related scourge on our once-goldy nation. Take a look at this:

Police charged 33-year-old Adelfo Ramirez Cruz, who used the alias Jose Rodriguez, with murder after they matched his fingerprints to prints found on an orange Jaritos bottle.
Investigators say the victim, Mario Carbajal-Plata, 43, and his wife were working at the taco stand on the 5400 block of South Congress when a man approached the window and placed an order.
The wife handed the Jaritos bottle to the man and started preparing his food with her husband. A few seconds later, shots were fired and the victim fell to the ground.

While I would not wish violence on anybody (even a Mexican), I will say that people who actively engage in the sale and distribution of Mexican foods are in a way asking for trouble.

After all, if a couple of tacos can make a female peace officer stab her husband in the heart, selling hundreds of tacos out of a truck and expecting to not be shot would be akin to selling the marihuana to negros and not expecting anyone to be raped.

We were just talking in a different thread about Mexicans and food. I didn't know it made people KILL each other! I really do need to move, before the Mexicans that live behind my kill me because of taco rage!

This has been a crazy day for me here, I have to go pray and figure out what I'm going to do so I don't get killed!

At the Hutchins house, we eat eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Roast beef sandwiches with gravy for lunch, Steak, potatoes, gravy and peas for dinner. Apple pie for desert after lunch and dinner, sweet rolls after breakfast.

She stabbed him over an argument about FOOD? It seems odd that someone would care so much about food to commit murder. I wouldn't be surprised if those dirty Messicants were putting heroin or crack-cocaine in their tacos! Although I must say, if the wife had a strong enough will to stab her husband, he clearly wasn't beating her hard or often enough.
