I thought the traffic was bad at Cedar Rapids at four in the afternoon!
Landover Baptist Pastors caught in nine day traffic jam in China!

A massive traffic jam in China has slowed vehicles to a crawl for a ninth day near Beijing. Vehicles, mostly lorries bound for Beijing, are backed up for about 100km (62 miles) because of heavy traffic, road works and break-downs.

A tour bus carrying eighteen crates of English Bibles with five Landover Baptist Pastors and their local crew has been stranded just outside of Peking for the last nine days. The Pastors have complained that locals are over-charging them for food and drink while they are stuck.

Pastor Steven Holyoke: "I had to pay one dollar for a case of water, and another dollar for a BBQ pork and potato lunch. I saw other local Chinese paying a fifth what I was paying but when I complained I was told "Whitey pay more."

The traffic jam caused the Pastors to miss their flight to Pakistan and also over stay their Visas. A prayer request has been made to help them with the visa officials.

The Pastors didn't expect the boom in road building in China in recent years. Vehicle use has soared and stalled traffic stretches between Jining in Inner Mongolia and Huai'an in Hebei province.
Remember this story when someone tries to sell you a cheap trip to China. You might never make it back to the Airport.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Usually you wouldn't think that nine days of traffic was a lucky event, but if they were headed for Pakistan things aren't much better there. The crazy traffic might have actually saved their lives! If they're lucky the will get their visas for Pakistan denied and just avoid all that flood mess.
Things are going to get worse before they get better.

I wonder if any of the LBC Pastors thought about just staying put in fast-growing, low-tax, free market China and forgetting about returning to the high-tax, socialistic hell hole that America has become in the past one year, seven months and three days?

There are times when you can see the FUTURE for America is to act more like a TRUE Capitalistic country like China. While the Chines haven't fully embraced the Somalia Economic Miracle the way they refuse to let canards like environmentalism, human rights or the scraps of paper held by poor property owners stand in their way is quite admirable.

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

This was a nightmare. I had to fire my houseboy over this incident. He promised us a shortcut to the Bejing Ruth's Christ Steak House.

The Godly Pastors have every right to complain about the food prices because:

On the bright side I'll be interested in what the Pastors spent their time doing while tied up in traffic.

My guess is they took advantage of the captive audience, walked among the cars preaching the gosple and converted many to Christianity.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.
