  • When will we learn? Gunless girl shot to death

ANOTHER LIFE LOST TO GUN CONTROL!!

After her parents refused to buy her a gun, she was shot to death. My heart grieves, because if she had been armed she could have saved herself.

    Read this tragic tale:

A Kentucky boy accidentally shot and killed his 2-year-old sister with the .22-caliber rifle he got for his birthday, state officials said.

It seems that her parents must have thought she was too young because she was only 2 years old. They made the brother wait until he was 5 years old until they bought him this hunting rifle. If they had not discriminated against the younger sibling, she could have whipped out her own .22 and defended herself.

WHERE WERE HER SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS??
"Come Unto Me. Put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath." (Matthew 19:14, Job 1:11).

A tragic example of horrible parenting, the gunless will be attacked and the parents should have known that. Oh that poor girl, dead before she could bear children and be a helpmeet to a husband. I hope the parents are satisfied!

All I can say is I hope those parents taught that toddler the importance of repenting for her sins, and accepting Christ as her Savior so she doesn't suffer in Hell for all eternity.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already,
because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
      John 3:18
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

I fear she is screaming in agony right at this very moment in HELL:

This illustrates the danger of buying a child a gun without arming the rest if the family.

Such a waste, when will the liberals learn that the only thing that stops a bad with a gun is a slightly better person, who is constantly armed to the teeth, with a gun.

Only more guns can end gun violence.

Exactly!! And I read that the family didn't even know there was a bullet in the gun!

What kind of nonsense is that? There are ALWAYS bullets in all of my family's guns. What's the use in having guns without bullets?

If even one person in the world has a gun, there is a chance that someday, somehow, that person could shoot you. Of course, many prople have guns. It's therefore impossible to be safe unless you are carrying a gun at all times. How is this not common sense? Everyone must have a gun, period.

As stories like this and the Newtown tragedy show, we have failed to protect our most precious resource: our children. What we need are guns designed to be handled and fired by kids without a loss in stopping power. Then, even the littlest among us will be safe. We owe them nothing less.

I agree children can never be too young to own and learn to operate guns.

I have my doubts about giving guns to girls and women though. I once gave my wife a gun and she accidentally almost shot me 5 times before I could take it away.

I agree when I get married and have many many children I will be arming them all once they are old enough to walk.

Re: When will we learn? Gunless girl shot to death

[grandmother] said she is devastated, but comforted knowing that her granddaughter is in a better place. "It was God's will. It was her time to go, I guess," she told WLEX. "I just know she's in heaven right now and I know she's in good hands with the Lord."
So it's the grandmother versus God.

THIS IS WHAT GOD SAYS: note, it is not in The Old Testament:
I Timothy 2:11-15 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety. KJV

Now even if we allow that the deceased was silent, faithful, charitable, holy and sober by no stretch of the imagination could she have fulfilled the precondition of childbearing. That fact alone eliminates any possibility of Heaven. Perhaps the grandmother doesn't like that part of God's Inerrant Word and she is free to disregard all of it if she so desires. But since she ignors I Timothy 2, or says it means something else (when I'd have thought verses 11-15 were particularly lucid), which explicitly addresses female Salvation how can she say anything about her granddaughter at all?

Just making stuff up, and I noticed she referred in particular to The Lord who as we all know is the only True God the God of Abraham of Isaac and of Jacob, won't get anyone into Heaven. What if the child didn't like singing? Why not make up some other Heaven and say she's gone there?

But when claiming that The Lord is involved and then making statements which directly contradict The Lord ain't gonna fool anyone. Not even a 2 year old.

I am not sure what the fuss is all about. It just a dead female, she had no soul and had not yet commited to Jesus.

                        Even her own mother said:
"It was God's will. It was her time to go, I guess," she told WLEX. "
I hope she did something nice for her son. He is truly a messenger of Jesus!

I feel women are too empty headed to handle a gun. They have a hard enough time with an iron or vacuum.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Tell me about it! My wife loves to iron the vacuum after she's finished vacuuming the iron. She says it's only fair but I say it's becoming rather expensive!
