This is one reason why I never ride public transportation:

May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Re: No To a Bus Stop In Freehold

I fail to see the need for a bus stop in a community where every decent person has several cars. Buses just hog the road.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I have never been to freehold although i would love to visit. Is there a minority problem there? Has it gotten so bad that you need to put in a bus? A City Bus is just a bathhouse on wheels, homers use them to find people to sin with and children to molest.

Re: No To a Bus Stop In Freehold

If anyone were to be looking for a reason to have this bus stop located in Freehold, though I wouldn't know why, is there any way this bus a pick up only? This might allow the continuation of that great old American tradition of ''running them out on the rails''. There is no place to put people on an out bound train so the bus could be used. Can't you just picture it, tarred , feathered and a window seat! It would make for some great photo op's.

Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Yes, we have a "minority problem". Once in a while, a member of a minority shows up somewhere in Freehold--usually they are a problem.

We don't want Des Moines metro service because it's just not Christian. People in Freehold drive cars because God gave us cars instead of donkeys to ride. Surely Jesus would ride in a car today.

I want to use this opportunity to pass along some information about public transportation in Freehold.

I was recently contacted by a representative of DART (Des Moines Area Transit Authority). The lady said DART had long wanted to serve the City of Freehold. She said a new route proposal could run bus service into Freehold allowing our citizens "low cost service to the greater Des Moines area."

The only requirement for us would be to buy one of those ugly little bus stop glass boxes and bolt it down on the corner of Devine and Trinity.

I had to explain again to the lady we do not believe in public transportation in Freehold, do not want any and would appreciate not being bothered with this nonsense again. In Biblical times, I explained, people walked themselves from one place to another. Today, we drive our own cars, following the Biblical principle of individuals being responsible for themselves.

I hope I have the support of you, the best citizens a Mayor could ever hope to serve.

Enjoy the rest of the summer. All the best.

You are to be congratulated for your stand against encroaching Communism. Here in the town in which I live we got rid of buses and taxis. (Remember sometimes welfare recipients can get cab vouchers).
