I have to ask how a "Winning the Poo Day" ever got STARTED in Freehold.

Was there originally a raffle for a truckload of compost or something?
      Bible boring? Nonsense!
Try Bible in a Year with Brother V, or join Shirlee and the kids as they discuss Real Bible Stories!
You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!

The "compost or something?" really got me laughing, Rev. Rodimer--good one.

The Winnie the Poo Day started under a previous Mayor, I'd rather not name names. I've heard he was dedicated to "good education" and personally interviewed teachers to make they, too, had the same goal in mind.

My management style is to set broad goals, hire good administrators and let them run the schools. The goals I have set is to make certain every child graduates with a dedication to Jesus sufficient to qualify for membership in Landover Baptist Church.

I do function as an oversight leader and step in to make decisions when necessary. That was the case when I had to cancel Winnie the Pooh Day.

          http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winny_(name)

Winny or Winnie (\wi(n)-ny\) is a female name of English origin, and a variant of Edwina, Winifred or Winnifred, Gwendolyn, Guinevere (Welsh), Gwyneth (Welsh), and Wynne (Welsh). Winny has never been a common name in the United States. This name meaning is fair one, white and smooth, soft, happiness, fair, or pure.
Winny is a male name from Cambodia, or a short form of Winston.
Winny is an uncommon first name for women and an equally uncommon last name for both men and women. (1990 U.S. Census)
The name Winny is similar to Winnie, a nickname of Winston Churchill and also the lovable bear in A. A. Milne's children's story Winnie-the-Pooh.
Winnie is a female name, could Winnie the Pooh be a pervert transvestite as well?!
Also it says that it has never been a common name in the United States, which makes it an un-American name, probably because it was a Eurotrash pervert who invented this satanic bear

                Friend -

True Christian™ <-- note the ™ symbol? is a phrase trademarked by Landover Baptist Church.

Only members of Landover Baptist Church in good standing, who have been vetted by the Pastors, may use the term to describe themselves.

This vetting focuses upon whether the individual really does follow the entire Bible, or just the parts he or she likes. It's not reasonable to expect the Pastors to take you at your word after a handful of posts on this forum; why, there have even been atheists who tried to claim they were True Christians™ (before the trademark went into effect)!

Some folks like me, who are not members of Landover Baptist but have been vetted, are "Honorary True Christians™". I've visited Freehold several times over the years. (That's how I got my Witch Hunt award; it takes place in Freehold, you see. As does RibFest.)

One day, you may earn the title of True Christian™, and I pray you do. In that day, there will be much rejoicing, on earth and in Heaven.

Why not show your devotion to the Lord by hosting a Winnie the Poo Bonfire in your own town?

I suggest borrowing all the Winnie the Poo books and videos from the local library, and visiting the local thrift shops to buy all the Poo merchandise. Have your kids borrow the books and videos at their school library, too. For all of $20-$30, you should have all the materials you could want for a grand marshmallow and Winnie . . . er, weenie roast!

You could put the video up on YouTube, and make it a grand opportunity to witness to your friends and neighbors.

I deeply apologize for offending you all, i deserve my infraction for this.

And regarding Winnie the Pooh, that sounds like an excellent idea! I noticed that my son got the latest Winnie the Pooh movie on DVD from his grandma as birthday present for some days ago, I took it from him and cracked the disc in front of his eyes and explained to him that Winnie the Pooh is a demon that will take you to hell, he started crying so I gave him 15 lashes and told him that he will get 30 lashes the next time he watch a Winnie the Pooh movie or read a Winnie the Pooh book or play with a Winnie the Pooh toy or even talks about Winnie the Pooh in a non-condemning way, yes even if it's at a friend's house, in a store or in the classroom at school, doesn't matter to me at all, Winnie the Pooh is a big no-no for this family from now on

As a replacement I gave him these 2 DVD's instead:

I gave them to him on the condition that he will watch them both tonight and then show them for all his friends whenever he gets the chance
