When a woman can't shoot a strange Black man who is in his own apartment but she thinks its her apartment and she kills him and suddenly it's HER fault?!

"When Your Privilege Runs Out: The Trauma of Amber Guyger" is a sobering commentary on the lack of concern our justice system has for innocent, armed women who walk up an extra flight of stairs accidentally. Officer Guyger, who was a police person and was trained to take rapid and decisive action when encountering people eating ice cream-- or what have you-- is being railroaded if you ask me.

After all the facts are in regarding this story, one is left with a single, inescapable conclusion. If Botham Jean had simply locked his door like a smart person, this would have never happened. But, of course, the Democratic-driven, Liberal leaning media won't come out and say it.

Things are in a sorry state these days and we need Jesus--or at least Donald Trump--to return and restore order.

Botham Jean (NOT an American name, by the way - ICE should be looking into his survivors' statuses I think) was clearly a threat. They say he was eating a bowl of ice cream. Imagine a criminal breaking into your apartment - you're picturing it's dark, right? I mean like all the lights are off. And he's probably black, so he blends in like a ninja in the shadows. But the reality was not that. He was eating a damn bowl of ice cream. Was he sitting on the couch? Was he dressed in pajamas? Was he watching Netflix? Imagine walking into (what you assume is) your apartment only to find that a dark-hued, foreign-named stranger has not only broken in, but has made himself at home in such a non-threatening manner?

I defy any MAN to say that such a scene wouldn't chill his blood. Frankly I'm just shocked that a girl managed to hit her target at all, granted this was at close range. Clearly he would have been able to hear verbal commands to drop the bowl and spoon. If he had complied, he would probably still be alive today. Forgive and forget.

The article did not go into how he had arranged his apartment. To me it sounds like he must have copied her apartment layout exactly. Otherwise, why would she not immediately recognize she was in someone else's place. So, the question is, why did he make his apartment look just like her own? He had to have some motive for doing this. I think the court should start over and call for an investigation as to why his apartment looked so much like her's.

If they find a motive for his copy-cat behavior, she will get off the hook like all the other law enforcement officers who killed black men.

I read the entire article and simply became enraged. No where in the article was answered the obvious question - did Botham Jean have his door locked?

We all know that floors in apartment buildings all look the same. Almost everyone has had the experience of getting off at the wrong floor and putting your key in the lock and it doesn't work - then you realize you're on the wrong floor.

Ever since Obama was elected I started making double sure my door was locked when I arrived home.

Are we to believe that Botham Jean was waiting around for Obama to have one of his beer summits to tell him to lock his door?

My point exactly. If Mr. Jean had locked his door like any sensible person, this would not have happened. But, no, he just had to carelessly leave it unlocked while he sat there, recklessly eating ice cream. What did he expect would happen? Did he think that he could just sit there, eating a frozen treat in his own living room with an unlocked door and that there wouldn't be consequences?

There's also the fact that if their roles were reversed, if a black Negro shot a white woman in her apartment, the liberal media (Titus 1:14) would've buried this story. White on black crime, statistically miniscule compared to black/black, black/white, and white/white, is the only kind of crime CNN will report on.
