  • What will it take to end mass shootings in America??

Like me, I'm sure y'all are getting sick and tired of endless thoughts and prayers demanded by politicians when yet another gunman rampages through a school, or a mall, or a Church, movie theater, restaurant, park, concert, office, hospital, supermarket, public transport, or God-forbid a BLM protest.

I've got to confess, the sight of slain children, dismembered body parts and organs spilling out onto blood-stained sidewalks is GETTING TIRESOME. Liberal propaganda at its worst.

So what's there to do? Well, sometimes the simplest solution is the most obvious one: don't go to those places, they're dangerous. Move somewhere they don't have these temptations for gunmen - North Dakota, for instance. Stay home. Call security if anyone breaches the perimeter cordon, keep triggers at the ready.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

Yes, Dr., we are a country that has become careless. We need more guns and people trained to shoot them. We need only home schooling. When churches like LBC gather we need more armed security.

These shooters are small in number and with a strong Republican Administration we can defeat them.

Mr. Mayor, the sacrifice of all those young lives would mean nothing if we throw it all away by submitting to gun control. Keep their memories alive

These children died to preserve gun rights. We cannot let them die in vain.

I've been concerned about the lack of thoughts and prayers this time. It's as if thoughts and prayers is worn out and not working. Thoughts and prayers have prevented any number of these shootings. And we need celebrity preachers like Franklin Graham explaining God is here to help those in grief get through this. Certainly we don't need some nit wit atheist saying "God let this happen. Pox on your God."

Perhaps the time has come to award each fallen child with a medal recognizing the sacrifice made to preserve gun rights. I'm open to suggestions for a name of such a medal.

When thoughts and prayers go quiet, it's time to roll out the good guy with a gun. Although certainly this is not the time to politicize tragedy.

That's a beautiful thought. Medals, hmm. Technically they should be participation trophies unless the kid intended to be a martyr. We can give them the benefit of the doubt but technically, they should not receive awards if did not carry weapons or demand gun rights.

            That's a wonderful idea!

I think this is like covid or the speed limit, etc. We have to strike the right balance of freedom vs. safety. Should we allow people to drive 80 miles an hour or 60? Should we have masks or not?

As a nation, we've decided to prioritize gun ownership over child lives. It seems like a worthwhile trade off to me. Most children are kind of annoying and will grow up on welfare anyway. Guns on the other hand are cool.

That being said, it is unfortunate for the children & families of the children who happen to be shot and killed, so they could have some sort of award recognizing their patriotism and sacrifice in the name of freedom.

If I am ever shot and killed by a mass shooter, I want to go on the record and say that I don't want my death to be used to justify gun control.

Maybe we ought to have a pledge similar to signing up to be an organ donor when people apply for a driver's license. A little box to check saying "In the event of my or my children's untimely death at the hands of a shooter, I want there to be no gun control enacted on my behalf".

Maybe we can even go a step further and add it to the pledge of allegiance like we did with "Under God". Such as "I pledge allegiance, to the flag & constitution, including gun rights, of the United States of America" so children would be consenting too.
Close minded people are just right people who don't want to spend time arguing.

Our thinking is similar, Prayer. I think we want to avoid that old military term, "collateral damage." It's true, the dead children are the collateral damage we have to pay to own guns and remain free, it seems so much more appealing to survivors to call the dead "heroes." That's why I'm leaning towards awards and medals.

Yes but it does degrade the meaning of "heroes" when their role is to passively die with no accomplishments. To me a hero is someone like Alex Jones or Rush Limbaugh, a fully flowered human being and then some.

Call me a limp wristed libtard if you want, but I think 18 year olds should be limited to just one AR 15 purchase in the first year and only 300 rounds of ammunition per week.

                  I also support background checks

Q1. Have you ever shot anyone, excluding home intruders, and people who you believe to pose a threat?
                  A1. No

Well that is a fine dandy armament you've just purchased. Warranty and care instructions are there in the box.
58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; 59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bringk upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

                      Sister, it's not promising.

                      Jose Flores, Jr.
                      Alitha Ramirez
                      Guadaloupe Rodriguez
                      bla bla bla etc...

You get the picture? Even the dead teachers who should've known better seem decidedly non-Christian: Irma Garcia, Eva Mireles. No further clues from the daughter's Facepage tribute.

"Mom, I have no words to describe how I feel right now, tomorrow, and for the rest of my life. I never thought that I would be here writing this type of post for you. Mom, you are a hero. I keep telling myself that this isn’t real. I just want to hear your voice," she wrote.

"I want everything back. I want you to come back to me mom. I miss you more than words can explain," Ruiz posted, adding: "You are so known by many now and I’m so happy that people know your name and that beautiful face of yours and they know what a hero looks like."

Blah blah blah. Not a hero.

What about under 18? I'd hate to see young patriots like Kyle Rittenhouse defenseless against the left wing mob.

Somehow, there is a disconnect with reality in the U.S. Let's start back with the Bible. Joshua goes in for a fight to the death in Jericho. The City had been taken by the wrong people so Joshua had to take it back with violence. Beloved President Bush II needed to take back Afghanistan and Iraq. In these disputes both sides arm up and duke it out.

Why do we think elementary schools are different? Gunmen want to invade, schools need to defend. These young men with AK 47's need to be met with AK 47's. It's quite simple. Let's get those weapons ramped up so kids can lay down a spray of fire power that evens the score.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

We can also stop right there as well, Brother Mayor. If we can just get America back to a Biblically-based stand of morality and social control cohesion, then mass shootings will no longer be a concern in our once fine country.

Moving beyond my earlier statement about putting the Bible back in government, there is wisdom in this point as well. No matter how deep the faith of our leaders or how closely they adhere to God's Word in the governance of our everyday lives, there will still be sinners among us.

Forearmed is forewarned. Get the Bible back into our schools AND get guns into the hands of our children as an additional precaution. What is that old saying? "Praise The Lord and pass the ammunition."

Those are words that should be displayed in every classroom.
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

An excellent point Sister - the Bible (KJV1611) is full of stories of God's righteous mass killings (eg. mass killings of the first born and brimstone fires wiping out entire towns).

The MSM assumes that all those killed were "innocent" - but never follows up to see what sin was going on in those classrooms. Was it drag queen story telling day? Were those homers and transgenders in the class?
                              Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
