  • Archbishop in Ireland: Tone Down Gangland Funerals

    When a Catholic gang leader dies, they hold a huge funeral. Lots of priests pray for their souls and money is quietly transferred to Catholic coffers.

    Now an Archbishop in Ireland thinks the huge press coverage of priests praying over crooks is bad publicity. He is telling priests to tone them down a little.

    The Archbishop should remember his own priests have been chasing choir boys for a long time. That gangster laid out in his silk suit might be one of the best Catholics the church buries.

    And there is the Bible. In Ephesians 4:7 God tells us sins are to be forgiven. Same in John 3:17.

    There is an old sayings that should apply here, "Charity begins at home." And God tells us in Matthew 7:1,"Judge not least you be judged."

    Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

    Al Capone. Pablo Escobar. Whitey Bulger. John Gotti. El Chapo. What do these men have in common? That's right, they were all Catholics who took their orders from the Pope. Virtually all organized crime figures have been either Catholics or Jews. Name ONE True Christian™ mobster. You can't, because they don't exist. We follow God's rules. The only rule for a Catholic is "There are no rules." They can do whatever they want as long as they confess it to their priest afterwards. That's what they believe, at least. Jesus will have his revenge on them all!
    I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
    Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
    But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
    From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

      Oh, my word and honor, Brother Hold! The article states that the Archbishop (a fancy name for "diddler") wants the "funerals to be toned down". Toned down? To what? A smaller choir for the service?

      Give me strength. It's just another poor attempt at fooling people into thinking the Cathyolicks are showing concern. What's next from that society of heretics? Admitting that purgatory is THEIR invention?

      A blessed day to you, dear Brother Hold.
      Sincerely, Isabella W.

        Toned down to what was my question also, Sister Isabella. Does the Arch Bishop want the Catholic man all dressed up in a $1,000 silk suit carried on a pickup truck?

          That's so very true, dear Brother Hold! And why do those Cathyolick priests all have to look like they raided their mother's closets, wearing gowns and fancy, high hats? And then there are those cardinals who wear lace tablecloths over their frocks, too!
