      Oh, I think the work is proceeding smoothly. Look at the positive influence Betsy DeVos has clearly had on your own education.

        Not when it conforms to the law, dear. And considering half of Americans say Bible should influence U.S. laws, including 28% who favor it over the will of the people, those who value democracy would recognize selling your daughter to a decent Bible Believing Husband is the American Way. You might find our handbook that explains in detail how Biblical Marriage works to be helpful: Landover Baptist Church Guidebook for Betrothal and Marriage. The Bible tells us that a female is worth 30 shekels about $9.00 in real, US Dollars. I have to wonder if that is an average value or is it one price, no haggling.
          I've known men who had horrific looking daughters, incapable of doing the simplest household task. Quite frankly, worthless in my book. Then on the other hand, I have met some young ladies that were quite fetching, hips made for breeding and the skills to cook and clean as they should be. Certainly, these two females are not of equal value.
          I'll follow the Bible as I have followed it as God had it written. I was wondering if any Biblical scholars is aware of God telling us definitively that some are worth less than others. Not racially speaking of course, a nigress is only worthwhile if she can produce a buck. Everyone knows that.
          As many here know, I have been without a wife for some time and now that I have completely forgotten who she was, it is time to remarry.
          Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
          Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
          Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
          Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
          Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
          Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

              You're confused, dear. Theonomics is not a portmanteau of theology and economics. From wiki
              Theonomy, from theos (god) and nomos (law), is a hypothetical Christian form of government in which society is ruled by divine law. Theonomists hold that divine law, particularly the judicial laws of the Old Testament, should be observed by modern societies. The precise definition of theonomy is the starting presumption that the Old Covenant judicial laws given to Israel have not been abrogated therefore all civil governments are morally obligated to enforce them (including the specific penalties) and furthermore that all civil governments must refrain from coercion in areas where Scripture has not prescribed their intervention (the “regulative principle of the state”).

                God made the female form in a certain way for a reason, to enable sharp eyed men to identify suitable females. An inflated one is false advertising.

                  Numbers 5:21 Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The Lord make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the Lord doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;
                  Numbers 5:27 And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.

                    Maybe you're confusing the Temple shekel with the fiat shekel. The temple no longer exists, of course. Jesus explained why. Perhaps you could find that verse?

                      I sold my daughter for 10 Bitcoins - back in 2011. Almost makes me wish I had another daughter.

                      58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; 59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bringk upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
