Is it okay to spread love?

There are some people complaining about good Earl Paulk:

DECATUR, Ga. — The 80-year-old leader of a suburban Atlanta megachurch is at the center of a sex scandal of biblical dimensions: He slept with his brother's wife and fathered a child by her.
Members of Archbishop Earl Paulk's family stood at the pulpit of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit at Chapel Hill Harvester Church a few Sundays ago and revealed the secret exposed by a recent court-ordered paternity test.
In truth, this is not the first _ or even the second _ sex scandal to engulf Paulk and the independent, charismatic church. But this time, he could be in trouble with the law for lying under oath about the affair.
but I thought it is important for you christians to spread the seed of god throughout the land. What are people complaining?

Wow, there are so many different ways to go in this discussion. On one hand, ANYTHING this this Paulk feller does or says is suspect, since he doesn't appear to be a 100% Bible-believing Baptist. On the other hand, are you really going to put your faith in a DNA test designed by some evilutionist?

Assumng that this so-called bishop really was caught with his tallywacker in his sister-in-law, God's word on this is pretty clearly spelled out in Deuteronomy 25. The Bible does indeed mandate that you have relations with your brother's wife, but only if you live under the same roof with your brother. Even then, you have to wait until your brother dies. So this so-called bishop's sin wasn't so much fornication as it was impatience. He is, nevertheless, doomed to burn in Hell.

Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name.... Jeremiah 10:25

Of course you're right, SF. Bishop Paulk ran into trouble when he spread his seed more liberally than his congregation could stomach.
