Nobody here would do any such thing to your wife, how can you even think that? The good people of this church follow God's Word to the letter. They would join with you in making such a person suffer. The Bible is very clear about how to deal with such abhorrent circumstances:

Deuteronomy 22:22
If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.

It seems the manner of death is left to us, so if you wish the rapist and your wife to suffer, so be it.

My wife would not be put to death for being raped. It is a well known misinterpatation of rape in the Bible. Rape can be considered consensual sex out of wedlock or as an affair. My wife would have NO blame if we are to use our modern definition of rape.

I'm using the Bible, not the 'modern definition'. If you disagree with the Bible, or think it's no longer relevant, I suggest you take that up with God.

Unlikely though. It's early here in the America's, but it shouldn't be too long before the majority of the Christians here are awake. And they'll spank you even harder than I've been doing.

You do not offer support or guidance. This is not Christian. You offer threats and taunts. I would not describe the people you define as Christian...as truely Christian..they speak with venom in their mouths and therefore venom in their heart..Jesus is not present in their heart. I am blessed that I have true confidence in God and I will not falter on my path because of these wicked people. These wicked people who do not seek to share Gods word with Love but attempt to make themselves feel important with it. Your prurient interest in rape gives me an uneasy feeling. I hope a Pastor sees this thread soon and can provide you with the help and guidance you need (for very reasonable rates, I understand).

The people here tell it like it is, just as the Bible does. They open peoples eyes to the Truth in the Bible. The Truth that will save them from Hellfire.

I think the point these idiots are making is that if you believe in the god of the bible you can't just pick and choose the bits that you like personally.

Some of the bible says nice things about love but a lot of it is about God wanting the LBG community killed or rape victims being killed, or adulterers being killed (in fact a lot of want God wants seems to boil down to something being killed).

It seems to an atheist like myself that most Christians seem to make it up as they go along, deciding which bits of the bible are 'right' and which bits are apocrypha.

Seems to me if one is going to base living their life on the God of the bible one can't then over ride the bible with personal morality.

Either the bible is the word of God or it is not.

I hope that makes sense.
