Re: False Preacher Wants "Humane" Death For Gays!

No, it is a punishment then because it sounds to me like the Tucker Telephone used to punish male inmates in the Arkansas Prisons.

At the notorious Tucker State Prison Farm male inmates would be taken to the punishment room where they would be restrained to a flat table. Two electric wires would be attached to the male offender.

The ground wire was wrapped around the big toe and the "hot wire" (the wire that administers the current of electricity) would be applied to the genitals. The crank on the phone would then be turned, and an electric current would shoot into the prisoner's body.

The electric current would cause excruciating pain to the male genitals. Continuing with the telephone euphemisms, 'long-distance calls' referred to several such charges, just before the point of losing consciousness. Often the victim would experience detrimental effects, mainly permanent organ damage, mental health problems, loss of one or both testicles and rendered permanently impotent.

If they are taken to the punishment room, is because they misbehave. So they had it coming.

Re: False Preacher Wants "Humane" Death For Gays!

I am not sure they had it "coming to them" but the punishment was extreme and severe, no need for it and it was eventually stopped by a more "Humane" approach to corrections, instead of the punishment model.

According to a February 20, 1967, Newsweek report, inmates were punished with beatings, whippings, torture with pliers, and needles put under their fingernails, in addition to the use of the Tucker Telephone. Much of the abuse was carried out by guards and the prison trusties who reported to them. The 1980 movie Brubaker, loosely inspired by events within the Arkansas prison system, depicts an inmate named Abraham being tortured with the Tucker Telephone. Devices similar to the Tucker Telephone have been employed up to the present day. A Tucker Telephone was allegedly used in a Chicago violent crime unit managed by Lieutenant Jon Burge to torture suspects during the 1980s. During the Vietnam War, some American GIs reportedly converted their field phones into torture devices, and something like the Tucker Telephone was used by American interrogators to torture Iraqi prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison.

I have seen terrible YouTube videos of gay men in Iran struggling in agony as they hang slowly from a crane or low hanging type platform, this is truly a terrible punishment and nothing that any true Christian would ever want to be a part of.

            Relief?

To be clear I am against the persecution of gays, or any other minority group. Hell, I don't even advocate the death penalty, but for crying out loud it should be at least humane if it is used.

Just look at places like Iran and North Korea where their human rights violations are horrible.

While I've got you here on the forum, someone keeps putting things on my profile, changing my profile and saying terrible and untrue things about me, humiliating me and exaggerating what I have said in the past, this is very unfair to me.

It isn't persecution if it's a matter of expressing your religious beliefs.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Re: False Preacher Wants "Humane" Death For Gays!

Whatever it takes, that is my new found attitude.

                Whatever it takes!

If it is a toilet brush to the mouth, in the mouth, or becoming a Eunuch in order to avoid never ending punishments, then my attitude is now, whatever it takes!!!

I am glad to read any book, watch any video or research any subject. Whatever it takes! And I appreciate all recommendations, references, tasks or assignments. My new attitude is I will do whatever it takes!!!

So from now on it's "whatever it takes"

My big concern now is the Forum point system and where I stand.

As close as I am to earning new found favor with the Moderators and other Forum members I fear I could be banned or something.

My standing right now is that I have minus -565 points in Latest Reputation Received.

And I have 659 points in Latest Infractions Received.

Oddly enough this group is very very important to me and I have not always expressed myself appropriately or communicated accurately how vital this forum and the forum members who are communicating with me . . . how important they all are to me.

So I don't want to lose what privileges I might have left with the group. I still want to learn and grow and become a better person and somehow earn my way back into participating appropriately with this forum that is now becoming like family to me.

I suspect you are lying about this. I have been on this forum nearly a year and although I am not yet a I am learning so much! No one has ever changed my profile! Perhaps if you listen to their words of encouragement instead of continuing to sin, complain, and whine, you too will understand that they are only trying to help you.

Re: False Preacher Wants "Humane" Death For Gays!

Stoning seems to be God's favorite method for dispatching sinners (Exodus 19:13, Exodus 21:28-32, Numbers 15:36, Joshua 7:25, 1 Kings 12:18, 1 Kings 21:13, Matthew 21:35, John 8:5, Acts 5:26, Acts 7:59, Hebrews 12:20). Therefore, it would seem that decapitation, electrocution, hanging, lethal injection, etc. are un-Biblical means of smiting. However, seeing as bullets are essentially little metallic stones, shooting homosexuals to death is perfectly in line with God's commandments (Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13).
I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
                    Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

Dear Mr. Lukes, you make an interesting point regarding bullets as an acceptable "stand in" for stones in a Biblically-sanctioned capital punishment scenario. It may be possible to carve bullets out of stone instead of casting them out of metal.

If that is the case, then the specific commandment regarding the stoning of gays, witches, young women raped within residential areas, people who pick up twigs on Sundays and those who misinterpret Holy Scripture can be met with modern day convenience.

Praise Jesus! As soon as we can get the laws changed to reflect what Jesus wants so we can stop worrying about Romans 13:1-2, things will be so much simpler. Instead of gathering a group of people and a big bucket of rocks, and then spending five minutes or more administering divine justice, one would simply be able to grab their firearm and pull the trigger. So much simpler. We have the technology, now all we have to wait for is for politicians brave enough to repeal the special privileges of the queers/witches/rape victims/etc, such as the right to not be murdered. Un-Biblical laws like that make baby Jesus weep!
