A blatant affront to a classic movie is coming to American theaters, (and possibly European theatres.)
Birth of a Nation has been re-made with a mostly black cast. And speaking of casting, this movie casts the white slave owners as the villains.
There is no mention of the economic struggles of the white property owners. Nobody seems to care about their problems. No, they are the bad guys even though they were building the sort of wealth that made this country great.
The worse part of the movie is when the black people twist scripture to bolster their own political agenda. They actually claim the Bible is anti-slavery. Apparently the producers of this film wanted to inject a little humor.
So, remember to pass up this piece of re-used handi-wipe. If no one goes to see it, maybe the movie will go away quickly. We don't need more people out there getting crazy ideas about the Bible.
Cautionarily Yours,
Handmaiden
