  • The planet's oil running dry? HOGWASH!

A fellow member here found this ridiculous article and I figured we had better address it before the Godless Left starts harping on it like a flat bread sandwich filled with sprouts.

Just read that. Some fathead sciensatanist is trying to start another mass hysteria brainwashing like "global warming" and the "big bang" by claiming the world is going to run out of sweet crude by 2020.

Well if Liberals and troublemaking hippies would shut up and let America drill itself like a pincushion this would be a non issue. We have PLENTY of oil for US in our borders and in the ocean. Maybe the eco wackos should start worrying about HUMANS instead of animal fornication and preserving doomed and worthless critters like caribou and walruses and penguins. Less Polar bears means more oxygen for America to use in our V8s anyways. Only a wussy drives with less than 8 cylinders, it's the American way and Jesus hates partial cylinder counts and Japanese cars(didn't we nuke them awhile back? Just checking.)

I say once the rest of the world runs out THEN we really kick it up and start building hundreds of refineries and nuke plants so WE are in control and can charge the rest of the world $300 a barrel.
God bless America, the Second Amendment and the Constitution. God bless the United States Marine Corps and all who fight for Jesus in third world cess pools. God bless the GOP and all they stand for, Truth, Honesty and the American people. God bless Landover Baptist Church and all True Christians™ the world over. Curses to our Muslim President, his failure is our Salvation.

Re: The planets oil running dry? HOGWASH!

This entire dilemma would be avoided if the enviornMENTALists in this nation would let us drill for oil in our National Parks and Alaskan Nature and Wildlife Preserves. The oil under those sites alone would likely provide America with enough oil to last for 50 to 80 years while world leaders and economists with the brains to think up a permanent solution are born and raised.

I'm not concerned at all, and as I recall, Creation Scientists at Landover University have already begun spearheading a well thought-out study into the possibility of turning straw into oil.

If God wanted us to buy into all of this eco-nazism, He would have said so. He gave detailed instructions in the Bible on everything from the design of the sacred candlestick to the punishments for various classes of rape victims. Are we supposed to believe that He devoted so much attention to those topics but just forgot about the environment?
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

God's will is being done, on earth etc. etc., and no whining hippies are going to change that. God gave us the earth and all of it's contents to use as we see fit. Why would he provide us with an empty oil well? That's obviously absurd. All we need to do is open the fridge (drill for oil everywhere and take over any countries that might have more) and we'll see it's stocked full of provisions (oil and gasoline).

The difference between True Christians™ and everyone else is that we have FAITH in Jesus. We KNOW for a FACT that He is going to use us as He sees fit, just as we have used the earths bounty as we saw fit. Praise His Holy Name, it will all come out in the end the way He wants it to. Jesus always wins.

In any event, Jesus will be returning any day now, and when He shows up with that flaming sword sticking out of His mouth, all the sissified hand wringing over oil will be quickly forgotten.
        Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Oh, not this peak oil insanity again.

Hubbert's Peak theory is just that, a theory. He predicted in the 1950s that American oil production would peak in the 1970s. He was proven entirely wrong, as we still have 32 billion barrels of heavy oil in untouched tar sands in Utah!! The Alberta tar sands, in Godless Canada (soon to be annexed), contain 1.75 TRILLION barrels of heavy oil!

Sure, it costs more to produce usable oil. Sure, it uses huge volumes of water. Yeah, it requires a lot of energy invested per unit of energy extracted. Of course, it's being done by strip mining an area roughly the size of England. But we're not going to run out any time soon.

          Things will just cost more.

I don't see it ever being a problem. Even if our oil get's a little short, we could just top-up using the old ways.

Remember, before we discovered 'natural' oil, we just used to use 'whale oil'. Surely if natural oil ever did run out, we could just go back to getting our oil off the whales? Do dolphins have oil too that we could use? What other animals could we get our oil from? And how many whales do we need to slaughter to get enough gas to power a car for a year? All these are interesting questions. Possibly God invented whales for just this purpose? For powering our Automobiles? He certainly wouldn't want us Godly people walking everywhere!

If we start now, we could have our first few 'whale-farms' created out in the sea within the month, for whale breeding and extracting oil. Praise!

I imagine we could get quite a bit of oil from your disgusting stringy woman-hair, Hippie Longstocking.

As Mr. O'Hanley points out, creation scientists ARE working on turning straw into oil. Or, more precisely, switchgrass into ethanol. It's also now possible to turn garbage plastics (made of oil) or even turkey parts into oil for reuse, so be sure to send plenty of plastics to the landfills for future mining!

For every ton of turkey slop that goes in, what comes out at the end are 640 pounds of clean-burning oils that are sold for use in fuels and manufacturing, 100 pounds of propane, butane and methane gases that are burned at the factory site to generate the electricity that powers the garbage-to-fuel process, and 60 pounds of solid minerals that are sold as fertilizer. Because each type of raw material -- tires, plastics or sewage, for example -- produces different grades and quantities of oil and gas, the company prefers to limit the process to one kind of garbage at a time.

Incredibly, the only "waste" that's left behind is distilled water. There are no smokestacks bellowing chemical-laden smoke, and no pipes discharging fetid wastewater. Plus, the plant produces more than enough fuel gases to power itself without using any additional energy.
We do have the other option of simply eliminating all non-Christians from the planet. By reducing the population to 1/6 of the current level, we'd have plenty of oil to last for generations.

Sorry, Hippie Longstocking, I'm not fat at all. As for you:

                  1 Corinthians 11:14

Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

1 Corinthians 11:14 only means that it is sometimes wrong for a man to have long hair. But when is it wrong? In verse 13, Paul tells us to "Judge for yourselves". 1 Corinthians 11:14 gives us all the information we need to judge for ourselves: "Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?" When is it wrong? It is wrong when nature - "social convention" - tells you it is shameful. Remember, I don't have long hair like a hippy. MY hair is cut ABOVE my shoulders, NOT BELOW! There is a difference. Try looking at your average brain-damaged drug-addled head-banging greasy-haired metal-head and you will see this.

Consider the Nazarite vow in Numbers 6 -

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD: ... All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow. Numbers 6:2/5

Nazarites were holy men. There was nothing shameful about their long hair. Although most people who took the Nazarite vow took it for a fixed, and fairly short, period of time, such as 100 days, there were men who were lifelong Nazarites, such as Samson (Judges 13:5) and Samuel (1 Samuel 1:11). The Nazarite vow shows that it is not always wrong for a man to have long hair.

                    Peace Brother.

Miss Jenny, a Christian can in fact take the Vow of the Nazarite.

This vow sets up a time of sacrifice and separation, when the vow-taker sets himself apart for the Lord. During this time, he must not consume any fruit of the vine - grapes, wine, etc.; he must not cut his hair; and he must not touch any dead body.

Here's an excellent webpage on the subject for you. http://www.learnthebible.org/daily_portion_0185.htm

                          The long hair is addressed:

                          Shame

Second, the Nazarite could not cut his hair during the time of separation. If his vow was for a long time, his hair would grow long. But in the Bible, long hair on a man indicates shame (1 Corinthians 11:14). Someone who willingly takes upon himself that which causes shame has conquered his pride. The disciple must be willing to take upon himself that which causes the world to scorn and laugh at him.

“If any man will come after me, let him…take up his cross daily” (Luke 9:23). Paul speaks of “the offence of the cross” (Galatians 5:11). Peter teaches the believers who suffer for the cause of Christ to “rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings (1 Peter 4:13). True discipleship requires us to be willing to suffer shame for His name’s sake.
Hippie Longstocking, you do not sound ashamed at all. You sound proud of your girly hair, and willing to go to ridiculous lengths to defend YOUR will, even when it contradicts GOD'S will. This suggests to me that you are not under a vow, but simply a prideful man who cares not what God thinks. Of course, you could simply lack the financial wherewithal to afford a decent haircut.

At my church, we would never allow a man with long, girly hair to set foot on the property. However, we would not reject him outright; we would first explain to him the reason for short hair, then offer to cut his hair to a proper, manly length on the sidewalk or pay for his trip to a church-approved barber.

Perhaps the good folk at Landover will do the same for you!

Folks at my Church always praise my curls, as they say it glorifies God. The women folks sure do think it's purdy. I do not think I have long hair, but if you think curly hair is long hair then that's your perspective. I will leave that to the Senior Pastors here to decide. If they decree I need a haircut, then who am I to refuse? Though it would have to be when I can afford it, as I spent the last of my wage tithing.

Remember, boy, we are both members here. I am not unsaved trash, and your endevours might be better spent in preaching to the less-educated heathens here. Praise!

Don't mock Christ, get a haircut.

Now America can always make do with synthetic oil so theres a burden relieved. We can simply build nuclear plants all over the country like the homosexual French do and there's some more relief. We can dam up some rivers with hydroelectric plants and even more oiless power is made.

Just those three things would drastically reduce our need for terrorist oil. Next we drill America from border to border, suspending "environmental" regulations so we can really DIG in and scour the nation for new oil fields. Oil shale, coal squeezing and gassification and caribou habitats all have oil just waiting for us to discover and utilize it. The regulations are whats in the way of our oil independence. Mindless rules stifling our country made by Democrats and communists(is there a difference?). They love paying terrorists and Muslims billions of dollars because it helps Islamic Jihad kill U.S soldiers. Hippies hate soldiers so you see how I have it all figured out. They stop oil drilling to kill troops.

The eco wackos will be upset but they are hippies so who cares? They're always mad about something I'm sure they will protest regardless of the cause so let them. If they get out of line simply arrest and subdue them like Ohio State or wherever it was they got violent and were put down in the 60s.
